Great performing paper
This was a splurge for me. I was doing a special painting and decided to give it a try. Turns out that Arches paper is all it’s cracked up to be. I love the way the colors blend on the paper and that I can work with it longer. Other psper seems to dry faster. And of course 300 lb. paper means I don’t have to tape it down!

I would say this is used by experienced Painters. I'm in a rural area without retail art suppies and I couldn't find single sheets of watercolor paper for my class. This is excellent paper.Know that the package contains multiple sheets bound together. To remove a sheet carefully lift from a corner going around all sides without cutting into the other sheets below it.

Professional, but rough surface, quality
This paper is very, very thick! It had a rough texture but it’s professional quality and the paint doesn’t run as easily as thinner paper. It also doesn’t warp (bend) as easily when you add a lot of water to it. Great for washes.I highly recommend it once you want to explore watercolor further.
