These strings have a singing voice or an overtone not typical of all-steel strings, and they make typical (non-professional) grade violins sound quite a bit better than what I hear from comparable strings on such instruments. A well-made string, well packaged.

These strings were unknown to me when I bought them, but I needed 1/10 size violin strings and I didn't want to stretch a shorter string or deal with ones that were too long (I don't like the suggestion of trimming the strings shorter to size -- you lose the grippy wrapped ends!). Anyhow, these strings were very vibrant and had good sound quality. The materials listed were good, too, so I'm quite pleased with this purchase.

These strings are awesome! German steel is the way to go!

It doesn't appear that there is much quality control done on the strings sent. One of the strings arrived frayed through a quarter of its thickness. Two of the other strings had parts of the string that look like they were stuck by something which kinked/flattened it. Ended up returning.

Great for beginners just learning

G string broke. I understand if the E or even A string would break, but G???On G, D, and A, the outer winding started coming undone within the first week. Was very noticeable after two months. Did not look nice and was worried the A string would snap in my face while playing enough to email but received no response. It did end up breaking before starting to sound dull which was disappointing.They do sound nice, especially for their price range. But very surprised about G breaking. Will not repurchase considering the fragility and customer service.

The strings don't take long to stretch and stay true. Bright sound.
