Check your triggers.I was worried about this one after reading chapter one. Luckily nothing happens in the moment but as stories of the past. But the way these two found a way around their past traumas will melt your heart

A wonderful read
This does have triggers for some people and a clown π. Lol I hate clowns. But he isn't a scary one. So the book is worth the read. Law works on the farm with David Baker. Coy is a farm hand that gets under Law's skin. Law irritates me at times but I love him anyways. Coy has grown so much since arriving and I like that he has a voice now. You meet some other sexy characters in the mix. Meeting Coy's mom, omg I act just like her. She is one of the best characters.

Charity does it again!
Charity does it again with this story. Her characters are believable and real (and really hot!). They have a lot to overcome - which they do. This addition to her Sugar Daddy series is a definite plus. You donβt have to read them in order (though it does help) to enjoy each one individually. But each does run into the next. And this one... you have to read it. But keep a fan handy!

This one was great.
The ending was so cute, but it was a rough road getting there. So many insecurities and past traumas to be had in such a short tale. I'm very grateful this one had a trigger warning, so it gets 5 stars for including that. Also, it was a really good story.

I was worried...
Why hadn't they shared their feelings with each? Why would Law push and pull at Coy's emotions? Which was CP's plan all along to get me to keep reading. And read I did. Law and Coy are meant to be because of their similar histories. They love each other, finally. Worried abated.

Law Ruined The Book
Not good. Law was a jerk and I don't care how it ended, Coy deserved better.

They already hold each other's hearts
Coy meets Law when he goes to live at David's estate. It's Coy's escape from an abusive boyfriend, but it's also a new job working the ranch/vineyard and its physical security. The downside is Coy feels like he can't do anything right in Law's eyes. Law doesn't really think Coy is inept. But he really wants Coy to stay away. Law is falling for Coy but he wants so much more for Coy - more than he thinks he could ever provide. Both of these men have so much damage in their pasts. We already know how Coy has suffered at the hands of an ex, because he was part of the previous book in the series. What is new to us is learning about Law's past; his mother was an awful person and the way this author tells Law's story is perfect. I felt the emotion; my heart was breaking so many times for Law.I particularly enjoyed learning how Coy and Law have leaned on each other, though it seemed almost buried in the plot. If you're not paying attention you might miss that beautiful detail. I also loved how David treats Law and how he treats Coy. David is awesome and it hit this reader all over again how he deserves the happy ending he got with Tyrone.I've loved every title in this series and always, always anxiously wait for the next to come along. They're deeply emotional books but you can read them in only a couple of hours. Just have tissues handy.
