Cool tool for your health!
I kept hearing some strange sounds in one of my ears for a week. I knew it was loose earwax but couldn't get rid of it with a q-tip. The sounds in my ear were annoying, but I didn't want to see a doctor, so I decided to buy this tool (and discovered it was called an otoscope!). Pleasant surprised to find that it came with a nice case. The instructions are simple, and setup was VERY EASY (downloaded the app on my iPhone 7 running iOS 12). The tool/app worked flawlessly from the start. The image was bright (those tiny LEDs definitely work!) and clear with no discernible delay. It's crazy to see the inside of your ear (gross but interesting nonetheless). Best of all is that, thanks to this tool, I no longer hear any strange sounds in my ear! 5 stars!!! P.S. If you use any one of the included attachments, make sure that it is screwed on securely before inserting the tool into your ear.

Cool camera but not good for ear cleaning
It really depends on what you want this product for. I bought this so I could try to clean out my ears after one of my ears had been plugged for weeks. At first I was seriously disappointed with it. The camera gets pretty hot after a few minutes of use. And the ear cleaning attachments don’t work well and they don’t snap on very securely to the camera. I did have to spend a few minutes trying to retrieve one of them after it came undone inside my ear.Once I realized it wasn’t going to work I ordered an ear irrigation kit. The name brand i think is called “Elephant Ear” but their are many cheaper generic ones on amazon. The irrigation kit was like a miracle it worked so well.Admittedly, after getting my ears cleaned out with the irrigation kit I grabbed the camera to see how clean my ears were. That’s when I realized that the camera is actually pretty cool and useful just as a camera and not as an ear cleaning device. The picture is really good and it was easy to get it working with the app. I think I am going to hold on to the camera but I threw away al the ear attachments. I’m sure I’ll use it more in the future.

Great light & magnification, good camera, but *Caution!* about design flaws
5 Stars - bright LED light makes it easy to see inside the ear canal with magnification;4 Stars - app works just fine and images are pretty clear, but there's a lag so you have to move the camera around very slowly (and they might be mirror images...?...I'm not sure);1 Star - clear plastic scoops, if you make sure you screw them onto the camera/light securely, are helpful for seeing & cleaning ears, but they are too rough for tender ear canal tissue. Even being very cautious and gentle, I scraped or scratched my sons ear canal and it bled a little. I cannot feel any roughness on the scoops with my fingers, but if I scrape the edge of a scoop across the tender skin on my inner wrist, for example, I can see and feel a slight scratch. I tried to use an emery board to smooth it out, but that didn't help. Design flaw.1 Star - the q-tip looking swabs and the sticky clear swabs are useless (and kinda gross). The white ones block the camera view, so you might be pushing wax back inside. And you can't really clean and resuse them. Another design flaw.Having said all that, this is a good light/camera to see inside my young teen's ears, but not so much for cleaning the stuff that seems to be way back there. After scratching his ear canal and drawing blood, we decided to leave his ear alone, let it heal, and only clean out (with a smooth bobby pin -- which is not recommended but gentler than the included scoops) the little bits of wax that are slowly working their way out of his ear. Seems to be working for now.

It works I guess...
At first I thought it was a scam. I couldn't get the app connect despite the instructions. It would just show 4 ears logo and then blank screen. All the buttons does not work when I try to press them. I was ready to send the product back when I decided to try connecting it again. I finally got it to work. When you open the product, you need to make sure the ear scoop is screwed (like a water cap) in place so it would not fall into your ear canal. Go to your phone, download 4Ears. The booklet has the link or you can go to app and type in "4Ears". Then in your settings, turn off your Cellular Data. Turn your tool on until the light is blue. Go to wifi and connect to "4Ears-some random numbers". You need to turn off the Cellular Data so it won't switch to using data, you want it to use the wifi. When you open the app, it should show the camera on screen. When you use the tool, for my case the image was mirrored. It does take a while to adjust so do try use your outer ear first to practice. Move the tool slowly so the camera would not lag and go out of focus. I wish the tip is a bit narrower or a bit more flexible so it can reach some areas of the ear easier. It does work but honestly just try to buy and check newer version of the otoscope to avoid this blasphemy. I hope this review help you all.

Excellent Otoscope
This otoscope is very simple to use and setup. You turn on the otoscope, connect with the wifi on you phone, launch the app and viola! No cable, or password needed. Picture quality is better than I would have expected. It comes with several attachments, 2 ear spoon, 3 cotton swab, and 3 sticky swab. Only the ear spoon is reusable though, not the other two. Fortunately the ear spoon is the most useful one anyway. So far I’m very pleased with the quality of this otoscope

Useful tool!
Really easy to use. We saw a big old piece of wax that was deep enough to have to take our son to the doc. Really appreciated having that level of visibility!

Great value
Overall really like the product. One complaint is I wish it was geared more toward professional use (ie ease of sterilization, etc).

Very useful for family with kids!
Bought this for my daughter's ear wax problem. She is 7 and it is extremely hard to clean her excessive ear wax. Now she can look at the phone while I'm cleaning and she is no longer afraid!
