Order a foot longer then you measure . This way you get some strap to pull tight.

Nice quality straps. Used them for extra security on the bow tie down on boat trailer.
Bought the 3' length to use as extra security on bow tie down on my boat trailer. It's nice to be able to buy the correct length so you don't have long tails to mess around with.

Works well on my Ranger R72 RangerTrail Trailer
I got a lot of service out of my OEM RangerTrail tie down but it was getting weather worn and I was getting nervous. I've had good luck with Rod Saver in the past so I thought I'd try this out. The tie down works well, metal clips are nice and strong and was easy enough to install. The safety strap was a little long so I may have to put something around it to keep it from flapping in the wind and fraying. Otherwise it's a good replacement and I'm pleased with the purchase. I would buy it again

Works great !
Works great ! Not too bulky or hard to manage. Just hook it up, adjust it, flip it tight and fold the excess in the Velcro strap holder and your done. My boat does not need a long tie-down so the length is just right for me. I have used the longer tie-downs on boats that needed a longer reach which works just as great as these short ones for my fishing boat.
