Highly recommend, easy to read
Just a few chapters in, but I am really enjoying the presentation and discussions of bridging syntax and semantics. I'd definitely recommend for folks interested in (semantic) knowledge graphs as a common underpinning for language and other modalities.

Revolutionary!
Fantastic ! The project which the books describes is revolutionary. The combining of the fields of Ontology and Natural Language Processing (NLP) is what our group has been attempting for the last 15 years. It is a clear wake-up call to the NLP community which has bypassed Ontology for decades. The book contains a clear self-contained review of both fields. I especially find the authors use of the term 'instance' to be both unambiguous and simple. All books should be written this clearly and comprehensively.

A must-read for beginners in NLP!
A must-read for everyone who wants to know more about linking syntax to semantics using ontologies. Great source for references and further reading in the field of natural language processing.

Excellant. I am finding this book a very practical introduction to areas of study that are of interest for me as a prospective PhD student. The lack of explanation of some of the logic and set symbols used is a shame but these are available as reference on the internet.
