There are several nice features about this collar but there are some drawbacks. When training a dog, the correction needs to be instant and with this collar, they are not. First problem is, after 10 seconds the remote goes into a standby mode and a button has to be pressed to wake it up before a corrective action can be applied. This can be very confusing for the dog. Second, when switching from one type of correction to another, there is a delay. If you have previously used the beep function and are switching to the vibration, the remote has to first respond to the switch with one press of the button and then you are able to apply the correction to the dog. You have to push the button twice in order to apply a new correction once. Having to wake up the remote after 10 seconds and switch modes to apply a corrective action appropriate to the behavior takes too long. Smaller dogs are fast and they do inappropriate things quickly. If I've been working with the dog using the beep function for a "come" command and the dog jumps up on someone, it would be nice to have a remote system that switches quickly enough to correct the behavior without confusion. The collar is small and the light is a great addition however, these functional flaws prevent me from keeping it.

Easy setup. water proof-essential when you are getting buried in snow in Colorado. Love that it has 3 stages: warning beep, vibrate, then shock so far haven't had to exceed warning beep. I love the remote so you can correct pup instantly and choose what barks are acceptable and reprimand when carrying on when unnecessary. Adjustable collar for any size-my pup is a sniffon so he's less than 10 pds. Loving this product!

We have a 60lbs German Shepherd Boxer rescue and we love this remote collar. She is young and listens well but sometimes has a hard time when there are a lot of distractions and this works perfectly to get her attention. We almost never use the shock, we use the chime 90% of the time and vibration is our next step. She knows shock comes after vibration so we almost never have to use the shock. Great range, we use this to let our pup off leash on the beach and have been so happy with this. Would buy it over and over again

Just received yesterday. I've tried one other collar before but it needed batteries. I love that this one is rechargable, waterproof, and it has a decent light on it. I actually used the light last night to let the boys out, and find them in the yard. I would definitely buy a second collar, and DEFINITELY recommend.

The vibration feature gets my dog's attention but the shock doesn't seem to affect her. I tested that the probes do work but did not shock my dog even when I made the collar tighter to ensure that the probes were against her skin. I will use this collar after the dog is trained and the only thing that is necessary is vibrate to get her attention. Battery life is very good and the sleep mode helps with that.

Held it on my forearm at 100% and nothing. The buzz and warning sound worked fine.

Mostly have used it for barking, but as he’s become familiar with the consequence, we’ve expanded its use occasionally to other undesired behaviors. He recognizes the beep as a conditioned stimulus for the shock, so we don’t have to shock as often
