Great look, light weight easy to use. Sound is good for what we need.

The quality of the sound was supervising based on the size. What we liked most is that it delivers true stereo sound. It was exactly what we were looking for! I bought three additional sets for Christmas gifts.

The size and appearance make it easy to set this anywhere and it looks great!

It always seems to be a choice with technology: if you want something a little bit classy, something that doesn't look metal or plastic and blends in well with the decor, it always comes at the expense of function; you just can't have both. I desperately wanted to love these even though I knew they were made and marketed for the aesthetes, and there's just no crossover in the industry for geekish aesthetes._Presentation_They look good. They feel solid. They feel like wood. Each speaker has its own unique tree with intricately carved leaves. They're simple, straight-forward, refreshingly basic. Just a power button on the bottom with a charging port. They make a nice tone or chime when they come on and off, albeit a little loud. Comes in a fancy box._Sound Quality_For some reason, they are really, really loud. There doesn't seem to be any way to adjust the volume on the speakers themselves, so I had to set my laptop volume to 4, which was still a little much even though other computer notifications aren't audible at that level. I believe this is why you can hear some static in the background - it's like listening to your smart phone through your car speakers with the phone volume way down and car speakers way up.I could live with a little static, but having to keep the volume so low is problematic, and a high-volume heart-attack waiting to happen._Notification Lights_They were pretty easy to set up, but the instructions were scant as you'd expect. There's no comprehensive explanation of the notification lights. One of them keeps blinking. I guess it's supposed to do that?_Charging Issues_I tried plugging the usb end into an outlet adapter and for some reason they wouldn't take the charge. Plugged the usb into the laptop directly and a little red light lit up on the speaker. But if I plug the micro-usb into the charging base, I get no indicator. And the speakers don't really snap into place, so it's difficult to tell if they're even making the necessary connection to take a charge. It sure doesn't seem so, but no amount of twisting them seems to solve it.The slip of instructions directs us to the company website for "more detailed instructions, hints, how-to videos and FAQs", but I could only find a retinue of product advertisements and a company contact page. Maybe you have to make an account, but I feel like I'd just be setting myself up for more marketing._Video Sync_It's not a problem for music and podcasts, but when I went to youtube and netflix I discovered that there's lag between audio and video, making the lip-sync noticeably off._Final Analysis_Sad to say I'll be returning these, since there's just nothing else out there that remotely compares. Maybe if they redirect their packaging budget into functionality issues, someday my geeksthete prayers will finally be answered.

Bought this for my husband for our 5th (Wood) Anniversary. Since he has been working from home since February, he has slowly been building his home office. He loves these. He has had no trouble connecting them to his blue tooth devices, although there were a few mishaps when he had to answer the phone for business meetings and it was in stereo! He fixed that issue though, but it was funny.

Item was defective. I am in the process of getting a refund, and buying from original manufacturer.

Bought these as a gift for my audiophile husband. He actually picked them out. They work ok, and are very cute, but if you want good stereo sound, go for full-size speakers. We exchanged these for the Microlab Chairmen bluetooth speakers, which are awesome.
