The backup sensor works as expected. The red mostly matches the color of the bumper on my 2004 F350 and looks good. I recommend using a Unibit instead of the hole cutter included with the kit. Hole cutters are not all that great at cutting steel. Use a Q-tip and some primer to treat the bare metal after the holes are drilled. Once the primer dries, use some touchup paint if you feel the need. For power, I just tapped the reverse light harness. As an added measure against the sensors falling out of the bumper, just apply some clear silicone on the backside (not seen) of the bumper to help hold the sensors in place.Note - if you are buying this for a very long vehicle, the cord to the monitor will not reach the dash. My F350 is a Crewcab Long Bed so it is close to 22ft long. I ended up mounting the monitor under the rear seat. The visual warning can’t be seen but the chime still works fine. No big deal. I wouldnt call this a defect since the cord is plenty long for most cars.

The product worked as advertised. Recommend the following:1. Include two wire connectors for the power source line.2. Include an additional meter of wire for the power source line. My brake lights are on the hood of the trunk, therefore when I connected the power source line near the brake lights I was about a meter short of wire to the controller.

Our 2017 Ford Escape came with the backup camera but not the backup sensors. The product was Easy to Install and works well. Only issue was finding a good place to mount light sensor on the dash. Would recommend for any vehicle that does not have backup sensors.

I get spoiled having sensors in the rear so when backing they tell me whether I can keep backing or need to stop. Installation is simple and straightforward. I've installed these on several vehicles and the installations are on my Youtube Channel WJ Handy Dad

The controller maybe too sensitive so that randomly display obstacles distance with annoying beep when I just stand still with reverse gear and clear distance behind.The sensors’ rubber secure locks are too soft, easy to break off.Double sides tape for controller is not strong enough, falling out after a few minutes, need to replace with 3M all weather double sides tape.I can pay more for better product that where it should be rather than a cheap product but less satisfied feeling.

Everything works perfect except the hole saw that didn't cut through metal but should be good for plastic bumper I had to use high speed steel step drill

Need info on why my sensors are lit and beeping steady. Installed easy, tested fine, but after drive down driveway I put in reverse to test and get 0.0 with both lights in the red. Need trouble shooting tips or a new set.

Color was very close to my 2012 honda accord... installation was easy and works great. I also installed backup camera and with this sensors... now backing up is easier and safer.

Easy install in a 08 chev pickup.
