Don't buy if you have a boy!
Title states it's for girls AND BOYS, however it is NOT! Everything about this is false advertising for potty training a boy. The picutres all show a BOY, there is a mound as if to block the "stream of fury" lol but it's worthless. The 6th (or so) picture shows a boy leaning fully back. To share with those potty training a boy a boy for the 1st time, that quickly leads to your floors, wall ahead and the stool/step he climbed up on (and maybe you) being peed on.I jumped online and saw (after purchase) the seller acknowledged the only question asked that it does not have a sheild for boys!Seller: Update your title and pictures. As you have acknowledged, it does not provide what's needed to potty train boys. Item is on it's way back to you!

Better alternate for potty training
We bought this to transition my toddler from the potty training toilet to the actual toilet. I wish we had down this from the get go because I wasted a lot of money on lysol wipes cleaning out the basin of the potty training toilet. With this, they obviously go right into the regular toilet. Easy to assemble, not colored like other options so it should match most bathrooms. Much better priced than comps (I paid around 19)The only cons is that even as skinny as I am, I have to remove the whole thing and put to the side to use the toilet myself and then put back. But that is so much better than cleaning poop out of a trainer toilet, so it's worth the work. It does not fasten to the toilet but it hasn't jostled or moved when my son has used it. He was able to use it independently on the first try.

DO NOT BUY!
Useless. I have a boy and his pee goes everywhere unless he sits alllll the way in the back which he can do alone unless i put him on to sit. The screws get unscrewed all the time and he’s almost fallen a few times because it is not sturdy at all, luckily we were close by and caught him. Absolutely disappointed and currently looking for something else.

So easy an 18-mo old can do it! ;)
My 18-mo old is very excited that she can use the “big potty” now! Not only can she climb up the steps, but she even helped put it together from the box (super quick and simple assembly). It’s also lightweight yet extremely sturdy, and I like that it can fold up since we have a tiny bathroom. Most importantly, this doesn’t get in the way of our bidet like other seat/ladder combos I’ve seen. Just as all kiddie toilet seats, I wish it had an extra attachment since she’s still kinda small and can slip in. However, she can hold on to the large grippy handles, so that’s helpful. And at this age, I really probably should be holding her anyway, ha! It is perfect for her to grow into!

Classy Design, Easy Assembly, and Comfortable.
Decided to give the Potty Training Toilet Seat for my Grandkids, and absolutely LOVE IT. Out of the box it is very straight forward how to assemble it and had my grandkids help me. The color of the seat is a great neutral color that fits different color schemes of a bathroom. Our upstairs restroom has Mickey Mouse essentials everywhere so it fit in perfect. The handles and cushion seating make it very comfortable for kids to enjoy their first experiences using the toilet. We had the hardest time having our grand daughter sitting on a cold plastic adult seat which is the reason we purchased this. It's great that the cushion portion of the seat comes off to make it super easy for cleaning. When its not being used we keep it right between the toilet at bathtub. Honestly the plastic on this is super durable and I feel like we can keep this around for a long time for our soon to be future grandchildren. Great Product, and Great Buy.

It ain't perfect but its probably better than most
This potty seat assembles pretty easy but be warned the plastic 'bolts' that hold it together do back out over time so you'll need to keep an eye on them. It felt really loose to me one day and I just happened to see that one of them was really far out. I checked them all and each one had backed out a bit. It wasn't horrible but it would be if my daughter had climbed up and it fell apart under her. The other thing that was kinda janky was these little thin pads under the potty seat that ride on the actual toilet seat, they don't stay in their positions and two would never stay in. I tried hot glue and that didn't work at all. But to be honest they didn't make that big of a deal in the fitment on the toilet. As for use my daughter enjoys using it and I don't have to worry about her using a stool thats always in the way and then to hop up on a seat that could slide out. This is one system and its easy to set beside the toilet when its in the way. I'm happy with it and will be using it to help get her potty trained.

Great solution for tiny kids
This is a great product! I remember using this as a kid. Its perfect for my 3yo who cannot hop onto the toilet on her own. She usually has a hard time getting the seat and stool in place before she pees her pants. This is a great solution! It comes in parts with clear instructions. It was so easy my baby put it together. It sits flush on the toilet and easy to take off.

Good quality and easy assembly, but seat not designed for small toddlers
Great idea, and assembly was a breeze, but the seat is not designed for small children. The potty seat on this is HUGE (almost the same size as a regular adult toilet seat). My 2 year old daughter, who is quite tiny and has a very small rear end, FELL IN THE TOILET when she eagerly climbed up to use this. Talk about a let down! For comparison, my 6 year old (46 lb) son fits this seat quite well. Kind of ridiculous, I think. The seat is cushioned and comfortable, and removes easily for cleaning, but that's kind of irrelevant because I can't see my daughter fitting this for years!Very disappointed because now she is scared to use the toilet (back to the toddler potty we go), and I have to disassemble it to return. Such a bummer... pun intended.
