I bought this to go with a Canon DSLR. In normal video use with the internal mic, the autofocus noise was horrible. Adding this external mic and a cold-shoe extension cured it immediately and also gave much better overall quality and noise rejection (in particular a big reduction in wind noise), than the on-board mic. Well worth the money.

I have only used this a few times but results so far have been very encouraging.

The mic definitely better than the phone's mic.For the price I think it's good, it comes with a windscreen and protective case. İn that way it's better than Rode micro mic and Move mic.This 3 have same built quality but this mic comes with a protective case and wind scren

As a keen YouTube vlogger, this microphone is an absolute game changer. Did a couple of test videos. 1 with and 1 without the microphone. And I can honestly tell you that when I played them back on my TV, I had to turn the sound right down on the video with mic as it was so crisp and clear. Whereas, the video using the camera's internal mic was noticeably not as clearSo if you want crystal clear sound for your videos and your camera accepts an external microphone with hot shoe or screw attachment, then I highly recommend this 1

I bought three of the cvm-vm10ii and tried them with multiple cameras. In every camera the mic has muted the audio and picked up no sound. This is the case with all three microphones.

I needed a mic that improves on the sound quality provided by my camera (a fab Lumix fx1000) and this does, at a fair price. What it doesn't do is cut out the noise of the camera's motor: for that I apparently need a shoe adapter (the mic has a screwhole designed for the purpose). These are cheap as chips so why not bundle one with the mic to save the hassle of ordering one separately?

I’ve used this mic with my Canon T7I and my iPhone X for a few days and man, am I blown away! You do get a lot for money. It’s a front facing cardioid pattern shotgun mic. A cardioid mic is heart shaped and is great for picking up sound right in front of it. Background noise is reduced and speech and vocals really do pick up very well with a this mic - as long as you or the subject is in front of it. If you are a blogger, this would be great as it reduces some of the background noises. I’ve had no problems with interference with my phone and camera. If I had more equipment, I would have tested it on them. But as far as my iPhone X and my T7I, it sounds great. It comes with its own shock mount. The mount, I have to say feels little toy-like. Like it’s going to break if you handle it roughly. Other than that, the mount does its job. The case it comes with works great and really protects the mic. The mic itself is well built (all metal) and feels good in the hands. The included windscreen and wind muff (dead cat) does what it’s supposed to do. The windscreen is great for indoor shots and it really eliminates the pops from “P’s” and “B’s”. The wind muff works well in low wind, but in very high winds, you can still pick up the wind noise (this also applies to some of the expensive mics/wind muffs too.) It comes with both a 3.5mm cable for your smartphone and for your traditional camera/camcorder like my Canon T7i. The only real gripe I have is, it has no power source of its own (no batteries). So it draws power from you camera or phone. Which is good and bad. It’s good because you don’t have to carry extra batteries around and reduces the weight of your whole set up. It’s bad because your camera/phone loses battery power just a bit quicker. Lastly, I really love how small this mic is. Again, for the money, you get a lot.

Das Comica kommt in einer stabilen Transportbox wo man alles Teile sehr gut drin aufbewahren kann.Das Mikrofon bietet einwandfreie Klangqualität, super Verarbeitung. Die Klangqualität ist im Video gut zu hören, nach meiner Ansicht ein für den Preis absolut empfehlenswertes Mikrofon!Nachdem das eingebaute MICRO meines Smartphone bereits bei geringen Wind zu rauschen anfängt, habe ich mir dieses Microphone zugelegt.Kein Vergleich zum Microphone des Smartphones. Keine Windgeräusche mehr und sehr deutliche Sprachaufnahme.Das Mikrophone ist kompett aus Metall sehr gut verarbeitet auch das kleine Gitter ist aus Metall. Man kann es z.B. in Räume auch ohne die beiden Windschutzaufsätze nutzen.Ich bin sehr überrascht was hier für diesen Preis geboten wird.Der Kauf verlief einwandfrei, Lieferung innerhalb von 2 Werktagen. Die Packung war versiegelt und beinhaltete das komplette Set.
