OK BUT NOT AS GOOD AS THE MARKET LEADER
Ordered this for our cocker pup to keep him under control in the garden while toilet training. The tape is not as strong as I expected and the operating mechanism for the brake/ lock is not as easy to use nor as sturdy as others on the market. It was OK for the money but will invest in better quality when he gets his "grown up" lead.

It’s ok. Material could be better
I bought this as I have another one from amazon that I really like, but it’s green. I’m a simple person and I prefer simple colours so I bought this. It looks nice but it feels so weak and flimsy compared to my other one. The tape is smaller and isn’t of good material. The lock is quite far from the handle so will have to overstretch my hand which won’t be great in locking in emergency. If I bought this lead first, I probably would give a higher rating, however I’m comparing it to another lead I bought on here for slightly cheaper.

Good for the price.
Good product. Not as easy to lock the lead as an original flexi lead. Need to click it to lock, no push to temporarily lock option. Otherwise it's a well designed lead. Nice and light.

A bit faulty but works overall
The product itself if sturdy and not completely uncomfortable to hold, however if you have smaller hands then it isn’t the best option.Also, for the price I would expect it to work a bit better. The fabric doesn’t always fully return into the lead and at times the lock feature is ‘buggy’ which if you walk your dog along busy roads, could end up being a serious hazard.

Needs better lock on
I find it hard to put on lock you think it’s on and one pull and it’s on free reign again.

OK for price, but not heavy duty
It is not a heavy duty lead, more middle duty. We have an admittedly boisterous 15kg 5mth old, when she runs full pelt to the point the lead stops she could potentially break it.

If your dog is a Bitter.
If your Dog is a Chewer, it’s not for them.

In general it works well.
The lock feature was secure but as it was locked by a thumb movement this might be a little more difficult ( particularly women) for those with a small hand.
