Siete Nacho Grain Free Tortilla Chips, 4 Oz

We saw these being offered at Whole Foods and decided to try them. They are so delicious and we can’t believe they are gluten free! There’s been a tremendous improvement in gluten free food because of cassava flour. They are crunchy and taste similar to regular corn chips but even better with more flavor. They don’t have as much salt which we prefer. They are a crunchy and healthy snack. We like these dip chips because their round shape makes them easy to dip. My aunt loves these and also Siete’s lime chips, also available on Amazon and Whole Foods. Great for parties or snacking!

I have ordered these chips before. They are very tasty and easy to dip.

I was incredibly surprised when I tasted my first chip. Considering that they don't use grain or gluten (how do they stay together?) these are probably the most delicious Tortilla chips I've ever purchased. The chips are not only delicious but hold up well to dip, thick dips such as Guacamole and a less thick dip like Tzatziki with cucumber. When you look inside the bag, however there are probably 30-40 chips in total. The bag is all puffed up which protects the chips but is a bit misleading when you see the small amount of chips actually servable. I'd recommend that you have several bags on hand if you are hosting a party or simply entertaining a few guests.

Siete Tortilla Chips are my new favorite snack! Not only are they grain-free and gluten-free, but they also taste amazing. I started the elimination phase of the AIP diet and read people talking about these chips. I was desperate for a healthy crunchy snack that was not a plain carrot. When I got them I was delighted and started to eat a few till I read the label, psyllium husk powder. I was devastated. When I get off this phase and I can start incorporating things like these, it will be my first go to in chips. Thankfully, they do not expire for several months if I can tolerate them. I think they taste better than your normal chip.

While I do enjoy these, I don't really get a 'nacho' flavor from them. For some odd reason, the flavor comes across as tomato-ish? They kind of remind me of lays ketchup chips, just less sweet. The texture isn't crispy necessarily but there is a crunch to the bite! The ingredients are great if you're looking for a healthier alternative to normal chips, just wish there would be more of a nacho flavor. I wouldn't repurchase this flavor again, but I would definitely give their other chips a try.Overall a nice chip, but not my favorite.
