For I Know the Plans I Have for You (Simply Ellie) Hardcover – February 1, 2009

I was very disappointed when this arrived. It wasn’t the one pictured. The one I received had the same wording on it “For I Know The Plans I Have For You,” but it is a teal color with a couple of orange butterflies on it. Also it had a sticker across the front & a sticker on the back that someone else had peeled (or tried to peel) off & left part of it behind with a bunch of sticky. If this were for a gift I definitely would have sent it back, but since it’s for myself I can live with it. I believe the one I thought I was getting also has a pouch in the back to keep things in while the one I received did not. It’s still a good journal; I really like the brand. I just wish I had known I was not getting the pink one pictured.

I bought the journal for my granddaughter, 14, for Christmas and she loved it. She enjoys writing poetry and enjoys reading inspirational books. I liked the journal because at the beginning of each page there is a small text, which helps her to focus on her goals and also generate ideas for her poetry. The texts are just inspirational, but are also quotes from famous people. The design is also very nice. The idea of butterflies, I thought, was most appropriate because she is going from a little girl to a young woman. She is starting high school and this also is a new beginning for her. The pages give her plenty of room to write and be creative. The colors chosen are soft and warm and give her a sense of relaxation. I am very pleased with the journal.

this journal book is perfect for my teen daughter. she loves reading books that help her grow as a christian teenager… as a christian mom i want may kids to understand the Word of God.What Gods plans for us. this journal is a very useful for growing teens. to all mom out there.. you can invest to this book, its worth it.

Bought this journal for my pre-teen niece. Since she is going through many changes physically and emotionally, thought it will be a good tool for her to express herself.Extra special all the bible scriptures...reminding her how special she is!I called her 2 wks after, she told me she really liked it and that she was already using it! She is 12 yrs old.

This journal is for individuals who are biblically intuned. It gives references to the Bible and how these references relate to our everyday world. It allows for your responses regarding experiences. The condition of the book was not appealing, however, I received a full refund. Very good customer service.

This is a lovely journal with wonderful references throughout. I don't know why it's advertised as a journal for teen girls. I think it appropriate for any age group though for the female gender due to the design. I was proud to give it as a gift and the recipient was proud to receive it.

This was a gift for my niece and I knew she just started journaling. My hope is that she uses this on a daily basis and keeps it for when she's older to look back on.

My granddaughter is enjoying this journal. She reports it is the perfect size to carry with ease. She's wanting to use different journals for different things. Poetry Diary Favorite quotes etc. Sssoo Nana will be ordering more with different covers. The quality meets everyone's approval. Buy with confidence.
