Best thing about this paper towel is it's spring tension to hold the paper towel roll. That means, it can hold the towel even till end. Material used is of good quality and it's base is pretty heavy so you can do one hand operation (very useful when your hands are wet). Only issue is the price if you are going to compare it with IKEA products. But of course, you can't compare two products who are from same category but are extremely different in quality and design. If you are very particular about quality and looks of your bathroom or kitchen, this is definitely a best paper towel holder.

Can't get it to grip a roll once the roll loss over halfway used.

This paper towel holder is incredible and so was the price. I was pleased after its quick setup that the spring bar actually keeps the towel from spinning out more than 1 sheet at a time. You really have to pull at it if you require more than 1 sheet. It’s sturdy and looks just like stainless which matches my other major appliances. You can’t loose if you pick this one over the more costly ones because it’s really worth more than the price it costs. 5 star

Good product.

This product is good but it doesn’t work that great when the paper towels are less then the holder. It’s expected.

Poor quality. Difficult to assemble. Ugly. Doesn’t work.

We bought two for occasional outdoor use. The spring arm works well to hold the roll in place so it does not unfurl in the wind. Works as advertised and looks sharp.

It worked good, just a bit hard for me to set the tension and roll retrieval. I use the split sheets and it does let me just get one at a time.
