I am so pleased with my new 11" stainless steel diffuser. I immediately turned on the stove and placed it on the induction burner and it worked immediately. I was concerned because even many various stainless steel pans don't work on this particular induction stove. Very fussy. I have one copper pan that I didn't want to give away and so pleased that I can now cook on it. Thank you.

I ordered both the 8 inch and the 11 inch (have not received 11 inch yet). Only reason I bought it is because the seller responded to my question and assured me the handle was detachable. I cannot see how I could possibly detach the handle. Am waiting on a second response from the seller about this. Also, the 8-inch disc is actually 7.75”. May not seem like a big deal but I ordered both discs for very specific pot sizes. So, will see what the seller has to say. Nevertheless, it seems like a very high-quality piece. Very substantial and well-made.

Does Not work on my Induction Stove.Takes forever to heat up and then it gets so hot (somewhere on that diffuser),my stove turns itself of automatically.Sending it back. Even though I have to pay re-stocking fee.I guess, that's a way to make money for something that doesn't work.

The handle on this diffuser is flammable and needs to be used with caution on a gas stove.I have both the 8" and the 11" models. Both work really well for simmering, even on the largest burner on my new stove. The problem is that the handle is quite flammable, and when I was careless one night and left the handle near the flame on an adjacent burner, it caught fire and I had to take tongs and move the diffuser to the sink to extinguish it.My husband removed the handles from both diffusers, and although they aren't particularly attractive now and aren't as convenient to move around, they still do the job.

I have a high end stockpot that was larger than the 11 inch burner area. I purchased the Foldable Embossed Induction Hob Heat Diffuser, cut off the handle, put it on the 11 inch burner area. The heat diffuser evenly heated up the 12+ Inch Multi layer Stainless stock pot. I can make double patches of chili at one time again. Thank you for making a high quality product!

It would be great if I could take the handle off it interferes with the pad

Great for both induction OR for heat diffusion at low heat

Do not purchase. Layers began separating after one month of use.
