Good for my small room
Good volume and sound. Not a ton of bass but good enough for my room. Probably not good for some audiophiles living room.No complaints. Would be nice if the remote was backlit.Bluetooth works great with the phone, no crazy extra complicated steps, works every time. Well worth the price.

Good, BUT...
These speakers were easy to set up and the sound quality was really great. Volume control with the remote is awesome. The build quality is sleek, but there was some thing about the build I did not like. When having audio playing for a certain amount of time the connectivity, whether it was from a 3.5mm aux cable, Bluetooth, or the optical cable. The connection will eventually have a delay that can be annoying sometimes. Especially, when watching your favorite show or new movie. The audio somehow cuts off for 7 seconds then again only half an hour later.

Great price, fits perfectly under a monitor, good sound, can take it out if I want
I purchased Creative Soundbar, as I need a reasonably-priced speaker for my new desktop, and I don't like cheap-looking speakers. This one sits perfectly under my HP LCD monitor (see the picture), and the speaker looks good (I also like the blue/green LED lights). Looks much better than cheap speakers from (probably Chinese) brands that we never heard of. I know Creative, and indeed my MB has a Creative chip to take care of the sound, so I thought I can trust Creative in terms of quality. I think the speaker looks good, especially considering the price. This speaker is advertised as dual purpose of using with a desktop or taking it out as a portable speaker, since it has a battery. You can connect either with Bluetooth or usual Audio connector. I tried Bluetooth with my iPhone and I can play music in my iPhone without any problem. So I could take it out for a picnic, relying on its battery, if I want, although I am not sure if I ever do it. I basically use this as a desktop speaker, always powered, connected to desktop with an audio cable.Because it is also marketed as portable speaker, there is auto power off after 15 min of inactivity. This is inconvenient if you use the speaker with a desktop computer and want to leave the speaker on all the time. Every time you do not touch the computer for more than 15 min, you need to push the power button to turn the speaker on. Otherwise the speaker doesn't work. However, as some reviewer mentioned, I found Creative provides a firmware which disables auto power off. I installed it and now there is no longer auto power off. Well done Creative!Sound-wise, I am by no means an expert, but it sounds much better than your typical two-small speakers. Bass is much stronger, and I enjoy watching movies more with this speaker, than other (cheap) speakers I have. of course there's no comparison with my serious speakers in terms of sound quality, but for a speaker to be used with a desktop PC, with this price point, I am super happy.

Exellent Value Sound Bar for small/medium living rroms
After researching all over the internet I decided to get the Creative Stage V2 2.1 Soundbar with Subwoofer, and it did not disappoint :)I bough this for my Sister as she moved on a new home and wanted to have her living room as minimalist as possible. The living room is on a medium size however and its a concrete house so there's slight echo but not intrusive..The Base from the subwoofer is on par with any standard 1000W Home Theater System so you will not suffer from lack of base. Keep in mind the cable is short but did not affect our TV setup as both are mounted on the wall. Sound quality is excellent no matter if its Radio, Music, TV and Movies I did not experience any clipping when using high volume as of yet..Bluetooth range works excellent even on a concrete house I could take my cell phone around the house 1st and 2nd floor and will not disconnect the phone, unless I go to the backyard..Controller is not that user friendly however once you get used to it it works out once you configure the Bass and Treble. Input access is OK however the tiny built in LCD screes does not helpOverall I'm happy with this soundbar as it makes a great substitute to a full Home Theater setup when lack of space is an issue or avoiding clutter form the surround speakers.
