Was very pleased with the color and they suit my purpose very well. I just did not realize how big a small amount grows into--so now I have an abundance of hydrated beads in several pans in the kitchen. Trying to de-hydrate them now for use later--hope it does not take weeks for this to happen. But overall, I like them very much.

This product is used with water. The more water you add to the product the bigger it is. But in order to use is an individual must put water into the bowl and than put either small amount or large amount. Depends on how much of the product an individual would like to use will depend on the size of the product. The product shouldn't be used with very young children, unless the adult is supervising activity. The product can be used safely with children ages three years old and up. The product is a wonderful way to use for sensory skills.

These expanded great and held their size for quite a good amount of time (at least 4 weeks). We were only able to use them for a short while because I had students that put everything in their mouth. The media could not be loaded. I used this for decoration in conjunction with 2 other brands/colors. Just sying that those one were the ine that popped up the most ! I have a floor vase full of it ! Everyone is loving it it is the first thing that you see when you get into my house. It complements so well the designs ! I would post a picture of the big one but I am too lazy to get off bed right now 😂. Maybe I will update after.Update : I actually had a video of it !

These are pretty cool! I had never seen them, but heard about them from my 3 year old after playing with them at preschool. I got these for his birthday and they are super fascinating. I would recommend using them outdoors if you can. I have 10 month old twins and between them wanting to put everything in their mouths and these balls becoming the size of large marbles and super hard to contain, I had to put them away until it cools down enough to use them outside. They do return to their original size after drying out but takes a good amount of time. I think it took between 1-2 weeks for ours to return to normal size. You don’t need much to fill something like a sensory box. I think we will try to use them in our outside water table at some point when the Arizona temps cool down.

These are fine. They do the trick. As with all water beads, they start to break down over time.

I've seen these on Youtube in various different "challenge" videos and I've always thought they were neat. I honestly was just looking for something that looks nice and be cheaper than marbles and fish tank pebbles to fill up some bathroom accessories. I have no idea how long they'll stay solid but I'm truly amazed at how much water these little beads absorb. I put two spoonfuls in a large bucket. I anticipated by the directions 6 cups of water.... within an hour I had to add in more water... again an hour later more water was needed. By the end I had a two gallon bucket filled to the brim with these beads. I face palmed, I should have done a little research before I went gong-ho with the beads but for the purpose of play-time and fun... a little goes a long way. If anyone knows how long these beautifies last... let me know. Or I'll update if I have to replace in the near future.

My prek kids loved playing with these and the ocean animals I added with them.
