PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FOR A GUINEA PIG. Search 'guinea pig' in the comments section, and you'll see other piggy owners have the same qualms as me.I really wanted to like this product, but I just can't. If you look at the design, it is difficult for a guinea pig to reach the hay without using the 'food bin' as a step. I now just put hay on top of the entire feeder so my piggies are able to easily reach the hay.I purchased another feeder at the same time and highly recommend that one. It's convenient for them to reach the hay, it's easy for me to put a lot of hay in it, and it attaches to the cage like this one does. Search for the words 'hay rack' and you should be able to find it. I use a 'food dispenser' (not sure if that's what they are officially called), so they always have food and can't knock it over. Unfortunately, I still need to remove the little poops from it when I clean their cage. If you have a suggestion for what to use for the food bowl, please let me know it in the comments section.

I really can’t rate the product because it wasn’t used long. I have a holland lop and she is too small for this feeder. It didn’t set low enough in the cage and she had to strain her neck to eat. This is a really good size feeder and is more for an average size rabbit or bigger. I expected smaller but was impressed by it.

I love this feeder!! It stays up right which is super important to me with two rabbits, keeps the clean up to a minimum and saves the food from getting everywhere. Plus the color is really nice so that makes it even better. Greta quality for the price and the size is good if you plan on refilling every other day like I do.

I had high hopes for this new way to put both hay and pellets for my guineas in this structure, but soon found it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. Too much hay fell to the bottom rather quickly that they couldn’t get to. They also had to climb on top of the pellets for the hay which caused to more poop in the food. Loved the idea, not as great as I thought.

I've used it for about a month. My bun can't get the hay out of it but I'm unsure if that is her deal or the feeder. The separater works well but I took it out. Attaches well to the cage.

The pigs love it.

I love thing and the guinea pigs love it, I highly recommend keeping it completely full, as you can see in my picture the pigs get very serious about getting their food & I can see how this could turn deadly.

I was really hoping this would work. First let me say that it is well made and holds securely to the cage. It is a good idea. It did not work for our Guinea Pigs at all. They had a really hard time getting the hay out and were unable to eat the amount they needed (the day we used it they only ate about 1/4 of the hay they usually do due to the difficulty of getting it out). It holds a lot of food, but the hay covers the food when they try to pull the hay out of the back portion. I would not recommend.
