Surprizing
At no time was I ever paid nor given this soldering station. I was looking for a new soldering station that meet my budget. KSGER T12 Soldering Station DIY Kits STM32 V2.1S OLED, This product is made very good, Electronics Techs could easily use this T12 Hakko solder tips. Now learning curve on this device can bit be tricky, there is no manual that comes with it. But those who buy KSGER T12 Soldering Station just google for the manual. Tips work very good, Remember make sure the T12 shaft is firmly in the handle. There are endless T12 tips for this solder device. I have been a Weller user since the late 70s, Now with new technology has made the Electronic Hobbyist and Electronic techs turning to this device as an alternative for the low budget buyers and still get the performance of a Hakko high end soldering station. YES !, I would recommend to anyone who is a beginner or a regular electronic tech give this KSGER T12 Soldering Station try

Doesn't work as it should
The media could not be loaded. Initial review: It seems to want a code on powering up but no code was provided. I can't get to the menu. It won't heat up.Update: KSGER support has been working with me to get it running. I gave them the ID1 and ID2 values and the provide me with RD1 and RD2 codes that work. However, it is not saving my language preferences between uses and does not work with all provided tips.Update 2: I kind of hate this thing. It doesn't work properly. It is very hard to get into English and to get it working. I have to do this crazy stuff every time I want to use it. I want to just turn it on and get soldering! Is that unreasonable? I mean I paid like $89 for junk. Instead of just replacing it with a working unit KSGER wants me to enter a bunch of obscure codes to turn it on and use it. I should have just bought a weller. I was ripped off. I asked for an exchange with a working unit, but to date have received no reply.

No Manual, But Works Great
I have been using this station for about a month now. It arrived with the tips and the handle pictured in the description. It heats up very quickly. The display was installed straight. All the tips work, although the D24 tip required a little more force than the others before it "clicked" into place and started to work properly. The internal battery was glued to the top of the transformer which causes the top to have a slight bow to it. Unlike other's I've seen, the aviation connector for the handle is soldered into the control PCB instead of having wires and a connector soldered to it. The control PCB had a small amount of white gunk on one side of the board, but everything has been working fine.It does not come with a manual, although instructions can be found on KSGER's store on AliExpress under the product page for this station. If you turn it on while holding the knob in it will start by asking for the language in the case it comes set to chinese. You select the tip by pushing the knob in and turning clockwise, and you can put the iron in standby and then sleep by twisting it counterclockwise. All the other settings are easy enough to find by pressing, holding, and turning the knob. I had to provide my own power cable, but the iron cable is silicone and it has worked great, especially when set to the right tip.

Great piece of equipment for the money.
Update! Had a last minute issue arise and had to keep the soldering station. I do have to say that I am impressed with the features. The one complaint that I have is, the RTC (Real Time Clock) / backup battery was DOA. I installed another battery and everything was great. That lasted for about 9 weeks. The new battery that I put in is now dead as well and the unit no longer keeps time. Not a deal breaker, but a matter of convenience.Great soldering station. To get the most accurate temps you should calibrate each tip with a thermometer. The firmware allows you to enter corrections by holding the knob in and turning counter clockwise. You get three tips, a conical pointed tip, a narrow flat blade screwdriver type tip and a knife blade tip. The conical tip had trouble transferring heat to the pins on a Raspberry Pi Zero. Didn't get an opportunity to use the knife blade but the D24 style tip is probably your best best for general purpose. On another note, I was aware that a manual was not included. Seller has a manual available, first I was asked for my e-mail address so they could send it to me. Of course Amazon wouldn't let me send that information. Then I was asked to contact them through the order page, unfortunately, that link was not available. Only after I left negative feedback did i get a response. Seller was very short and impatient in there attitude. After receiving the manual, thanking them and letting them know that I wouldn't need it because I was returning the solder station due to the attitude I received from them."do you get my manual now?i sent it already.if you have any other requirement, you can tell me "The seller was thanked again, I sent a message, letting them know that i liked the product. Due to the level of service, I am returning the solder station. Willing to give things another go, everybody has rough days. I gave them an opportunity to figure out a way to convince me to keep the solder station and the above message is what i received in return. Honestly a simple apology for their impatient attitude, and I would have kept it. Returning, I would rather put myself into debt and pickup a station from a company with a higher class of customer service.

Solid value budget sildering station
This is my first soldering station, after years of solder guns. I really like it. It seems to work fine. Just remember to get a power cord for it. It uses the same cord as a desktop computer. Probably the only grump about it is having to really firmly seat the probe tips. (It'll show an error and not heat up otherwise). This is one spot where a threaded retaining collar would be nice (Hakkos dont have them either). Other than that, it heated up quick (6 seconds is not an exaggeration), and allowed me to easily repair my Wacom tablet. I'm looking forwars to using it more. I would definitely recommend this for the first timer or the budget hobbyist.
