Not Quite A Described
This is going to sound like a bad review with a high rating. That is because this grinder is no worse than any other home use model. They just have a very inaccurate description. I have used meat grinders of one fashion or another for 50 years: from helping Grandma make chopped liver with a hand grinder to currently making 12 lbs of sausage a go.As far as I can tell, there is not one bit of stainless steel in the whole device. The working parts of the grinder are aluminum and tool steel. It is not dishwasher safe. Parts can be put in one, but the aluminum will discolor and the chrome plated end of the screw corroded on the first washing. (I am considering asking for a replacement for this reason) The knife and plates are tool steel which will rust if left wet for any length of time. Even using the drying cycle on your dishwasher will leave them stained. The best way to clean the knife and plates is to soak them in soapy water and pick out bits with a toothpick. Rinse well, blow out water from the holes and coat with cooking oil immediately. You might actually want to store them in oil.Be sure to lubricate every moving part with cooking oil or fat before use.

Partially frozen pork
Great meat grinder for the $. Secret to great pork grinding is to cut pork in small chunks, put on a cookie sheet and partially freeze the meat. 2.5 # ground in a few mins. Love it!

Suitable for restaurants
Good use for some time, the kitchen master liked save a lot of time, the power of big, small voice, but also with the sausage can do accessories, cleaning is also very convenient

As good as I expected
Is what I was looking for, I have used it to grind 5-8 pounds of meat each time, it works great.

Was only ok
I got this to replace our older one and discovers it was exactly like the one we had wanted one with more power and better chopping ability
