YUM
Doesn't have that strong protein chew like other pastas. Very decent flavor, really not strong at all as long as its paired with sauces. Does hold water so you will need to practice cooking with this! Can't beat the protein!

Healthy and Delicious: A Great Pasta Alternative
My wife is always looking to make keto meals. If you're looking for a healthy pasta substitute, this organic edamame spaghetti is awesome! It cooks quickly, has a great texture, and is packed with protein. Plus, it tastes amazing with any sauce—my wife has been loving it as a guilt-free, nutritious meal!

good but spongy
The flavor is pleasant and mild, and the noodles are coarse with a spongy texture. I deduct a star because I don't really like the spongy texture (normal noodles are more chewy which I prefer) but otherwise they're good noodles.

I Only Use This Pasta !
I’m so glad I found out about this product. I learned of edamame pasta on TikTok. It allows me to hit my protein goals while also being satiated, and not having to sacrifice the taste. Honestly, you can tell it’s not pasta made of wheat if you eat it by itself. The texture is a little different, but once you add all the things that we add to pasta, you’ll see it’s a great alternative. One serving is 24g of protein and 180 calories. There is no reason for me to go back to regular pasta.

… different…
Ok, so, I thought it was cool that they were black. Not gonna lie. They turn a dark brown once cooked though, fyi.I was hoping for a wheatless alternative with some actual NUTRITIVE VALUE in it… but.. I just don’t think I could replace regular pasta this way.I love black beans, I do, but … maybe just as black beans? Idk. The flavor was… different .. and that’s the best description I can manage. I think if black beans are your absolute all-time favorite food, maybe this is the thing for YOU. Maybe.I didn’t use this for regular spaghetti or with an Alfredo (which might be better, honestly) but rather with a tomato based rendition of what I know as Fidéo. (Pronounced “fee-THEY-oh”) I figured that since black beans are a savory bean that lends its flavor to many Tex-Mex dishes and salsas, perhaps it’d be safest to lean that way Vs. towards the Italian or Asian… but even though I’m really heavy handed with the Cumin and lime and garlic, I still found that I needed to add cheese and sour cream and salsa and some homemade guacamolé for it to really be palatable TO ME. However, I did use grass fed/finished ground beef instead of steak as this is what I had on hand and after I’d already begun preparing the sauce and started the noodles I discovered I was out of celery salt…😰… but I made do.It turned out mostly edible as long as you didn’t run out of ANY of the aforementioned ‘toppings’… but it’s not something I would give another go to… I might come back once more and give these a shot with a mushroom, chicken, garlic and Marsala infused Alfredo though and if I do, I’ll post an edit to say how it went.Definitely…. Different …

does not dissolve in water like other gluten free noodles
I found this product at a grocery store, but the store stopped stocking it. I was glad to find it on Amazon. Noodles have high protein per service, is gluten free, and cooks very fast in boiling water. The noodles stay intact and don't fall apart like other bean type noodles. Texture is not too firm and not squishy. I have to drain the cooked noodles in a colander to remove any excess water. I have also made extra servings and refrigerated the cooked noodles for the next day. The noodles hold up well the next day.

I am not eating this.
The box was held shut only by a piece of 1/2” tape. The box was old, with those grey vertical lines that follow ridges on the cardboard. There were 7 labels stuck on the box, i think for shipping places. One converted the cooking directions. I assume some other label covered a use-by date, as i could find none. The 2 interior bags of what i hope were black bean spaghetti seemed undisturbed, but the dark spaghetti inside seemed brittle, old. I…. I’m not going to return this, because i opened it to inspect, but i’m also not going to eat it. Wasted money.
