Prompt delivery and a reasonably priced unit, easy to assemble and install. Loved the different adapter combinations to fit the installation need. A good amount of active carbon granules is provided to ensure effective absorption (essentially removing) of contaminants and other substances. The polished stainless steel covering gives the unit a sharp and professional look, especially after installation.One flaw with this unit, there is no way to hold the tank in place to be able to tighten the unit's head. I tightened it the best I could and a few minutes after installation, the unit started leaking. I had to turn the water off unhook and bleed the lines; now that the tank was full of water I was able to keep it in place and tighten the head, good to go after that, no more leaks.I am in the process of purchasing 1 more unit for another customer and will continue to promote this product because it saves my customer money, and their plumbing system but above all, it protects their health at a lower coast.

APEC rocks again! I own one of their nice drinking water filters so I figure I'll try their whole house filter. Wow, what a shinning good looking thing! Yes I am proud to show this off to my friends. This is fairly easy to install compare to those other ones with messy tubes running everywhere... Obviously a superior design that simplifies.The result? Very refreshing water from every faucet out of my house! Now I feel safe washing dishes and food, and my skin and hair feel much better after showers!What's special about this system is that I don't ever need to change filters or maintain it EVER! I researched and found similar level systems sold by other water dealers for as much as $3000-- so I really got a bargain !For $200 more, APEC also has a flagship model with a back-washing head that suppose to achieve higher performance and life time. But hey, I think this is good enough for me, I am very satisfied already!

Took 2 days to install. Make sure to stand by and look after the pipes that leads from main water line into the filter, pressure can be high if you don’t seal if correctly it’ll burst. Happened twice but found out it was the gaskets inside the pipe I bought was not good.

awesome water system, converted my near undrinkable water into refreshing spring, love the easy installation and hassle free maintenance, too bad i can give it more stars
