Great for the pups
Our Malinois are very tough on toys. We do not allow them to continually chew on this specific toy. If you want that kind of toy buy a nylabone. We supervise when they’re playing with this because we’re normally playing tug with them. It’s very well made but no toy is absolutely indestructible. I bought 2 because I’m afraid I won’t be able to find them in the future.

Not Durable or long lasting
We bought this toy for our 6 month old Labradoodle because he loves water bottles and we thought this would be a safe way for him to play with them. It’s a great concept but our puppy chewed the handle off of the toy within 3 hours of receiving it. By the next day he had chewed all of the Velcro off and was into the pocket for the water bottle. We threw it away in less than 24 hours of receiving it. We were so disappointed in this toy. Our other Kong toys have been more durable.

Extremely strong!!!!
I love this holder... the bottle only lasted a short time with my Labrador .... the squeaker cap i kept and got a new empty bottle but i had to find the right sized one that would fit... and then the squeaker cap wouldn’t fit on it... so I can’t use the squeaker cap but i can still use plastic bottles in it and not have to worry about cutting their gums... and it is extremely durable... so if you have a dog that loves those plastic bottles this is a great toy for them... they will have many happy hours chasing this and chewing on this making that sound they love!!!

Kong toys
Most Kong toys are very durable. This single layer fire hose toy lasted approximately 12 minutes with my 13 month old Belgian Malinois K9. Using this a reward for training is great. However if you get distracted during training an leave it with the dog for 5 minutes the velcro and handle will be gone. The fire hose part lasted just fine. It's the additional sewn on pieces that are questionable.

Good, unless your dog is a walking wood chipper.
It lasted for about 4 days. My year old Staffordshire terrier just picked it apart after that. The fire hose portion of the toy wethered the assault basically unharmed, but the same can not be said for the nylon material used to close it, the stitching there was weak, they should have use a recessed stitch on that side as well has having the velcro recessed. I've purchased similar toys that used a double velcro closure which intertwined and made it really difficult for dogs(or anyone without opposable thumbs) to open. Why would they not use the fire house material everywhere?? All of this being said it's still the best "cruncher" style toy I've encountered. That it lasted four days surprised me and actually says something good about the toy. She has the habit of destroying her toys very quickly. If your dog isn't a walking wood chipper then this should be fine!

Good for what's it's supposed to be.
To start of, this is not a chew toy in any way. This is a tug toy. This product is not meant for you to to give to your dog and walk away. Having two German shepherds, I'm saying this is a decent tug toy. It's a hollow firehose that you can put a plastic bottle in to get that crinkly sound . I just put some old socks in it to give the dogs a good Bite. Only downside is that the material at the moment seems to be very hard. The dogs teeth kind of slide right off of it unless they're holding it with an extreme bite. I think they're getting that they have to bite harder to keep it, which is exactly what I want.

A great concept but not well made
My 4 mo old golden is obsessed with chewing on (destroying) plastic bottles. I liked the idea of the durability of the fire hose material coupled with the crinkling sound that she adores. Seemingly this toy should be a win. Unfortunately, within the first 15 minutes of play, she figured out the weak point of the toy is the velcro. It didn't take her long to get the velcro end shredded open and the bottle out and in pieces. So, into the trash the toy went. We got maybe 25 minutes out of it.

Don’t waste you money
My 11 month old puppy chewed a hole in it within 10 minutes. This product is NOT for chewers.

My dog loves it!
It has survived a month of my dog playing with it and that’s pretty impressive!

Great as another moderately durable dog toy
Great as another moderately durable dog toy. I’ve got a lab pup and he’s managed to rip it after a week or so, but not bad at all compared to other toys we’ve bought

Garbage after 2 hours!
Our 8 month old poodle received one of these for Christmas. Within 2 hours it was shredded and there were little pieces of yellow and black thread everywhere. Save your money.
