As long as it fits around the head (not loose/tight), it does its job, keeping your hair in place.
Decided to buy this one for me and my SIL, upon reading the reviews I was worried I might have a big head as it might seem too tight. Thankfully it wasn't too tight or loose around my noggin, perfect. The velcro on the side is very effective, so there is the adjusting process if you feel it's not secured. This is after one use as I received it through the post just last week - we'll see. The material is quite soft and does the trick in keeping every loose strand of hair back. The added bonus that you can even use it as a flannel and wipe off the mask residue afterwards, and then pop it in the wash. As with all fabrics, best not to wash this headband too often as it risks compromising the integrity of the material, even the velcro. This is worth the 5 stars.

This hair band is made of cotton material
I've been looking for a simple hairband to do my skin care routine. My main preference was that the hairband must be made of natural material.You can adjust its size - make ıt tıghter or loose it.This is a handwash item - do not put it into washing machine!

Not great.
I honestly prefer a band that is one piece and stretches and pulls over your head. I struggled to find one so ended up buying this instead but having to undo it each time to put it on or off is a pain. I eventually found one exactly what I originally wanted and so these will not be used again.
