This conditioner is sent from heaven. The scent is so fresh and light, and it leaves my hair smelling good for multiple days in a row (if I wait on wash day). It has really helped my 2B-3A curls to feel fuller and softer. If you’re like me and have any type of condition that affects your hair/hair growth, this shampoo is really helpful. I have really bad hair thinning and constantly have hair falling because of my thyroid disease, but this has helped the hair to be stronger! This is also a water based shampoo which is good for people with thin, fine hair! It is not a heavy product at all, and it feels lightweight in my hair. The bottle is also relatively small, which is perfect for me as a college student who has to lug all my bath products to the communal showers all the time.This is my go-to conditioner forever now!! This is totally worth buying, the price is also really good! Absolutely love Maui moisture products, and am planning on buying more of their stuff soon!

This shampoo has been my go to for a very long time now. It's hydrating and leaves your hair soft and shiny. I would recommend getting the conditioner with it to leave your hair even more hydrating. The smell is amazing and when you walk out of the shower it will stay. The product is very good quality for it's price and you get a good quantity. The shampoo isn't thick it is more runny which is better for lather, it gets very foamy.

I have long dry wavy/curly hair in between a 2B-2c. My roots and the hair to about my ear level is virtually straight, however, and actually gets greasy if I don't wash my hair least every two days or so. This shampoo not only smells like a juicy watermelon candy that gets me excited to wash my hair, but also really cleans the scalp so well without leaving buildup and residue. This shampoo also does not dry out the rest of my hair and the ends, and leaves my hair detangled and ready for conditioner. I can tell when "moisturizing" shampoos are actually drying because my hair gets so tangled when coming through it in the shower (coughPatterncough), and this one does not dry my ends out! It's really hard to find a good middle ground shampoo that doesn't break the bank and cleans my scalp without damaging the ends, so this is probably my holy grail! If I heatstyle my hair, I leave it for like 4-5 days without washing, so this $8 shampoo bottle will sometimes last me 5 months!Note: I do not use the corresponding conditioner so don’t know if it’s any good. As I have dry hair, I like to splurge on intensive hydrating conditioners. Also, the bottle cap is kind of cheap, so use caution when traveling with this.

it smells good and it is good for my wavy hair

I have thick, fine, highlighted hair that tangles horribly. With the current shampoo I was using, my hair would just matt up against my scalp when I would shampoo it. I had used normalizing shampoo for years, but after a hysterectomy two years ago, my hair has slowly gotten more dry and needs something less clarifying. With the first use of Maui shampoo, I could shampoo my hair without pain. My hair would lift off of my scalp without matting. When my hair is styled/dry, it is not lifeless or flat which is something I was worried might happen. I also put it to the ultimate test today and did not shampoo. My hair was not dirty or oily looking. It smells wonderful and lathers well. I'm very pleased!

I was constantly weighing down my hair with other products. I have fine hair (not thin) and it seemed like over the years I lost that natural wave and slight curl and I kept thinking I was losing hair or my hair was changing. In reality I was just using shampoo and conditioners that didn't work for me and were weighting down my hair immensely. I bought this shampoo and conditioner set for its lightweight moisture since I believed through trial and error I didn't need anything heavy on my hair anymore, and low and behold I got my curls and waviness back! This is the perfect shampoo and conditioner I was looking for. It smells great, still makes my hair soft but doesn't weigh it down, and has given body and volume back to my hair! I love this stuff

Not a great shampoo for my hair type. Thick. Doesn’t give much or any moisture to hair. This would be a decent in between shampoo for a strip clean.

I absolutely love this shampoo! I highly recommend to anyone struggling with build up, or breakage.
