Color:Green Size:1 Pack Color:Green Material:Stainless steel+ABS Why Do You Need to Trim Your pet's Nails? Cats' nails are the same as people's nails, which are basically trimmed once every 10 days to half a month. Fingernail is too long also easily hook bad carpet or leather sofa, cause harm to the person possibly also. Instructions: Place your pet in your lap to soothe him, hold his paws, gently press your fingers against them and push your nails out of his paws with your thumb. Avoid the blood vessels on your nails. If you accidentally bleed your pet's nail scissors, you should cover the wound with medical cotton and hemostatic immediately. Trim your pet’s nails regularly to make them stronger and healthier.

Mixed Feelings - Splintered some nails
I have 4 cats. They are all super-chill with nail trimming. Pros: comfortable to hold, easy to trim even with thicker nails, angle to metal section makes it easier to snipCon: it splintered several of my cats nails - 4 times, so 25% of the time. My previous trimmers never had this issue. I am not sure if this is "operator error" or design. Will wait 2 wks to next trim and see if it repeats. Splitting nails is a deal-breaker here.

Pretty awesome
So this is my first time having a full indoor cat and therefore being required to cut his nails (our indoor/outdoor cats needed their claws). They're fairly easy to use. I love the rounded edge so I don't accidentally poke him anywhere, not that he really fights me on trimming. I'm surprised by how much I appreciate the curve of the clippers. I like to trim his nails when he's relaxed and I don't really pick him up or I sort of hold him like a baby in my arms. So that curve really helps with a quick trim and little to no movement. The clippers leave a nice dull cut so he can knead his life away on my bare leg without drawing blood. Make sure to snip at the right angle though...I made that mistake once and his claw wasn't sharp but it wasn't gentle on my skin either.

Not for dogs
Although this was advertised for small dogs (I have Chinese Cresteds) they just don't work well even on this small size. Cut was ragged and not good. The product is nicely made and think it would be good for cats but would not recommend for any small dog.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR CATS WITH THICK NAILS!!
My other cats have smaller and thinner nail, and I've always used a human nail clipper as they love their nails clipped and purr. :-) If you read my review of the "cat muzzle", you will see I'm dealing with an older cat with HUGE and THICK nails that at one time grew into her pads and required vet care. Of course I used the new cat muzzle I recommended and the clippers work wonderful on her VERY THICK NAILS!! She is an older, mean and grouchy cat who feels she owns me as well as the house! lol I HIGHLY recommend these clippers!!

Precise results on all of my cats
a) The angled head allows you to keep the cutters perpendicular to the cat's paw. Only problem is that when you change hands, you must rotate the scissors to maintain the correct orientation.b) I didn't cut a single quick (cause the claw to bleed) as I sometimes did with the previous clippers.c) These are wickedly sharp. No resistance in cutting through the claw.I highly recommend these over "human" nail clippers.

Worth every cent! Buy now!
This is $9 I should have spent years ago! I was able to clip my cats claws quickly and easily. The grip on the clippers are adult sized with big places to grip. The 25° angle and the protection of the actual clipper blades make getting to the claw so easy! Easy of use is the top quality of these gems!

10/10 Kitten clippers
Sharp. Easy clipping, blades glide well on one another. Indented section makes clipping easier. Grip on the handles is okay - I understand they are kitten clippers, but why are the holes so small for my fingers? I guess they are great for both lefty's and righty's, but I'd like it better if the holes were proportioned more like regular scissors. I personally don't have a problem with the hole size - I have small fingers - but my partner does have a bit more trouble using these comfortably.

More difficult than it needs to be
The end is curved which makes it difficult to clip the cats nails. The end is also very wide, making it even harder to see and cut the nail

Works well
Angle tip made it easier for me to cut my kitten claws. The one we received was sharp and my cat didn’t mind it at all! Good value!
