St. Patricks Day Luck of The Irish Assortment Water Slide Nail Art Decals - Salon Quality 5.5" X 3" Sheet!

These are a 5 star product. Many reviewers gave 1 star because they didn't read the description and expected something entirely different. Grrr! Pet peeve of mine.These are unique, beautiful and top quality. They are one sheet of clear plastic with decals printed on it over a white backing. That means you need to cut around each decal as close as you can before putting them in warm water. I use the very small eyebrow scissors. Regular sized ones will not work well.When the back gets soaked the decal will easily separate. It's recommended that you use tweezers to separate them but these decals are thicker and much more durable than others so I put the wet decal between my thumb and forefinger and slide the decal off the backing. I haven't had one decal from Moon Sugar Decals that have ripped or curled on me and I'm very rough on them. I place the decal on my dry nail and push it around to where I want it and then put my thumb over the whole image and press firmly to squeeze the water from under it. Because of the thickness of the plastic I never get wrinkles or places where it folds over on itself. I rub over the decal several times with my thumb to make sure all the water is out from underneath and the edges lie flat. Then I dab it with a paper towel and use a thick-ish layer of top coat to seal it.As with all decals, it's recommended to put them over white or light colored nail polish so they are easily seen. These decals are very pigmented and, as you can see in my pictures, are still crisp and colorful on a darker background.If you are placing a decal on a curved area or are using a large decal you will have problems with the edges lying flat. What you do is leave a little bit of clear plastic around the image and cut little "V" notches in the clear part when you cut it out. Because the image is on clear plastic you will not see these notches after you top coat and the decals will lie perfectly.

Even the nail salon was jealous! Once you figure out what you're doing, you can have the most adorable nails very easily. Ive used a lot of water transfer nail decals now and I've learned that some are somewhat transparent And need to be on a lighter background, whereas some are fully open ache and it doesn't matter what color you back it with. If some of the decal overlaps the finger, I use nail polish remover to wipe it off the outsides of my finger before I seal it. All in all, very easy to use and super cute!

I love these! The designs are super cute and so easy to use. Literally all you need is a pair of tweezers and a cup of warm water. I used a soft paintbrush to flatten the sticker out and dry it up once it was on my nail, mainly because I was too lazy to get up and get a qtip, like the instructions said to. This was my first time purchasing and it will not be my last!(Seller is pretty solid, too)

These decals worked great. This was the first time using decals for nails. At first I couldn't figure out how to get the decal off. The directions were vague at best.Using tweezers to slide the decal off the paper is essential. They were nice and thin enough to not leave a rough edge, so if you choose not to use a top coat you can with these. And they also came exactly has the picture shown.

Prints are too large for a small shaped and/or short length nail. Best suited for longer length nail.

Small amount of decals, no two were the same so if you're looking to "mirror" your nails, you can't. I've ordered a ton of decals and this by far was the most disappointing. Going to give the remaining decals to the technician as I won't be using again.
