Good seat
Special long nosed clamps needed to install hold down bolts but that is a Toto toilet problem. Seat fits perfectly and is outstanding for fit and comfort.

Genuine Toto Product
Contrary to other reviews, the Toto seats we received (we replaced all of them in the house, because they matched our Toto toilets) were all new in sealed boxes containing the genuine article and factory labeling. The units were packed in foam sheets and well-protected. They were no more difficult to install than any other toilet seats. They are not at all flimsy but to the contrary, well-made and a perfect fit for our toilets. Maybe those installing them in non-Toto toilets are the ones complaining about poor fit or looseness? We like the soft-close feature, too. Highly recommended, especially if your toilets are Toto. Be sure to look inside the tank to get the color number for a perfect match.

Mounting holes too small for Toto mounting hardware.
Overall this is a well built and is comfortable for me. I'm not giving this seat 5 stars because I bought the Toto THU651N Top Mounting Seat Hardware for Toilet and Toilet Seat to mount the seat and these bolts would not go through the seats mounting holes. I had to use a 1/2 round file to round the holes so the bolts would go through. You would think when purchasing an expensive Toto seat that it would be compatible with Toto mounting hardware. Also in the process initially trying to get the bolt through the hole one of the seats bold covers broke off. They are attached with a very flimsy and fragile piece of plastic.

Kind of expensive but worth it the original one lasted 7 years. Hope this one will too.

Wonderful product
We remodeled our bathroom twenty years ago. I thought I would have a hard time replacing the Toto toilet seat but to my surprise the seat was the perfect size and color. So pleased with the service and the product.
