Don't let the weight of the package fool you. I was concerned about ordering this for the price thinking it would be a very small amount. To my pleasant surprise, the bag was densely packed and one bag has gone a long way. But now I did find other listings for 1 lb for a cheaper price. Do your research.

Well, what can you really say about crinkle paper? Came exactly as pictured. The crinkles have a great amount of "spring" that allow them to expand if you need them to. I used one bag to fill six of the boxes in my pictures 3/4 of the way.

My first thought when I searched for crinkle cut paper on amazon and this product came up was "this is ridiculously expensive for what it is". After further searching using filters I couldn't find a larger amount for a lower price than this (without getting something lower quality or that didn't fit my purposes, namely uncolored crinkle shredded paper for parrot toys), so I listened to the glowing reviews this product has and just bought this.My first thought on pulling it out of the box was "there's no way this is half a pound of paper". Thinking maybe it was just packed tighter than it looked or something, I decided to empty the bag into my food scale (took 2 measurements)... And confirmed that this is indeed less than was advertised. 1/2lb is 8oz, my scale reads 6.8oz.Charging $8 for a small bag of shredded paper is one level of exploitative business practice. Shorting the amount that you then give to the buyer (keeping in mind that the product here is worth pennies) is absolutely ridiculous.I have no idea why this has such glowing reviews, but I'll be trusting amazon reviews less and try to find better merchants for my purchases moving forward - either buy some crinkle cut paper at a local store where it's reasonably priced, or just buy a shredder and make my own. Although this product is a pretty blatant example of these problems, it's a general trend I've been noticing on this site that only seems to be getting worse.

This is the best way I have found to encourage my parrot to forage. Every foraging toy gets a wad of this plus some treats hidden in the wad. She pulls it all out and after it hits the floor, scavenges through it for the treats that are still in it. A great way to turn a "toy with hole in it" into a bona fide foraging toy.

I purchased this to line some gift baskets I put together for a crafts fair/fundraiser. I liked the "kraft" color -- neutral -- and it fit the more informal/country style of my baskets. I had originally purchased two packages and found that one would have been enough -- it comes packed fairly "tight," and loosens up as you pull it out to use.Would absolutely purchase again if I need more -- it's nice quality, no odor, and performs great as a "filler."

Slightly pricey, but it does what I need it to, which is fill the voids in my small shipping boxes. I use smaller 3x3x1" boxes for my items and ship them in the small USPS priority mail boxes. I use this crinkle shred because it matches my kraft envelopes that I include with the package details, etc. I'm sure there's other stuff I could use that might be cheaper, but this has the right look and is consistently crinkled (I've seen some stuff that is not as nicely crinkled). That may seem picky, but I want my product to look a certain way in the box.

Everything is just what it appears to be - shredded paper! Nice and brown and perfect for filling gift baskets. You would be surprised at how far one bag will go. I thought I would use the whole bag on one basket, but I probably used less than a quarter of a bag and obviously had plenty to spare!

I used this product for filling "thank-you" crates with tagged goodies for a luncheon. It worked great, looked great, and the shipping was lightning fast! It's a good value for the money, and in fact I went back and bought 2 more bags (thinking I needed more). A little goes a long way, and I only used 2 bags out of 3. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo before taking everything down & putting it away - darn it! :-(
