The reverse side of the coin displays a bald eagle with wings spread triumphantly. The eagle grasps a clutch of arrows and an olive branch in its talons, symbols of military might and peace. This old coin is a large, hefty chunk of silver, measuring an inch and a half across and weighing in at nearly an ounce.
