My Second Review - After Fishing
I used this reel out in the Gulf of Mexico. I was every bit equal to the $500+ two speeds others had on the boat.It pulled in a couple of very large fish AJ and Grouper. When I engaged the low speed the fight strongly turned in my favor. The drag was very powerful and smooth.I had 80 lb Kastking Braid on it with 4 ft of 100 lb mono leader to the bait rig.I could really apply the pressure to a big fish and keep it coming but when the fish really took off the drag saved to day and prevented a break off.My only complaint is that when the word actually gets out on how good these are the price is likely to go up.

lasted 2 trips!
I bought 2 of these reels. After the first trip the drag would not go back to free spool and had about 1 pound of drag but was at least useable. After the 2nd trip the drag stuck on about 20 pounds of drag even when the lever was on free spool and the drag set loose. I really liked the reel look and feel but its worthless if i can't fish with it!! I will not buy another one. The same thing happened to BOTH reels.

quality of product
Overall I liked the quality of the reel however the main feature of the reel for me (the drag system) is well below par. Line does not come off the reel smooth, very jerky. The drag adjustment has a very small window for adjustment.
