Dorman 77111 Interior Door Handle Spring Compatible with Select Chevrolet / GMC / Oldsmobile Models

I research all the time, so as some sites and even ford's website mentioning that this piece would fit i naturally purchased. However it wasn't a fit. Too small. And wide. Fast shipping.

Product was advertised as single spring. Because if this I ordered two. When it arrived there are two packages of 6 per package. They are also listed as black. But they are zink plated.

The item we wanted was a single spring for a door handle. We received 6 small springs for ...I don't know what. The box even says "Qty 1" and there are 6. The instructions are for 1. It is definately packaged wrong. Thankful Amazon gave me a refund without having to return it. I guess we will use the springs elsewhere and continue to look for the proper one. We were going to get it through Rock Auto but Amazon was next day. I guess we should have used Rock Auto but thankful Amazon gave a full refund. So Item gets a 1 star but customer service gets a 5 star.

I needed a replacement door handle spring for my 1986 GMC S15 Jimmy and this was an exact replacement at a very reasonable price. I thought I would be receiving just one spring as pictured, but received a package of six! I guess I now have spares?!?

Price a new handle that I had sold hundreds of, verses the price of the spring.Still need a couple of rivets to reinstall. Could not find any parts store who had it available or could order it.If I were a GM parts Mgr. I would of stocked them.
