Great for Super Hot Temps, Travel, etc.
Military female who gets sunburnt easily here. When deployed it gets super hot, i.e. around 120+ depending on the area. One of the deployments to the desert, I was at a base where we could wear civis after work (a luxury). 1. Not wanting to draw attention to myself (aka modest) and 2. Trying to stay cool/not sunburnt (needs sleeves/coverage/loose fit), and 3. Wanting to look decent, this shirt was PERFECT! I got it in three shades/colors and wish they had more colors available. I wore it both when it was hot out and at night when it got cold (layered on top). I now (back at my home base) wear them regularly as travel shirts, shirts to do errands in/groceries/around the house, and as jammas. These shirts are awesome. Hands down.

Go with the Terminal Tackle PFG 50 Instead
My husband has worn the Columbia Terminal Tackle PFG 50 shirts for years and loves them. I saw these Thistledown shirts and thought, "Wow, these are a lot less expensive, maybe he will like these." NOPE. Utter fail. They are very soft, but are not silky, like the Terminal Tackle. The Thistledown is made of a thin T-shirt like material, which some people may prefer, but my husband does not. Appearance-wise, the Terminal Tackle is definitely more forgiving if you carry a few extra pounds in the torso. The fit of the Thistledown shows every bulge very clearly. My husband is only about 10 pounds over his ideal weight but the Thistledown really points that out, whereas he looks great in his Terminal Tackle shirts. I ended up returning the Thistledown and buying some more Terminal Tackles instead. We do love the Columbia brand and find their clothes, while a little pricey, are worth it as they are easy to care for and look good for a long time.

I have three Thistledown shirts. They are the essential top of my daily wardrobe. Great light-mid weight shirt over a T. I’m an old guy. 75. At this point I only wear clothing that works for me. The Thistledown is best of breed. Feel like cotton. Another great Columbia product.

Size wrong
Returned this item. It was tagged as XL but was at least a size too small. I have several other Columbia XL shirts that fit as expected but this was either mis-tagged or the size of this model is off.

Husband loves these!
Soft, comfy, good fit, washes beautifully. Husband has had some of these for years. I just added a couple more to his collection. He wears them for sleep, lounge, under sweaters and fleece. Loves them! Regular fit, not tight.

Perfect Long Sleeve for Sweaty Men
I ordered a few of these for my boyfriend and after they came in, I ordered some for my dad and bf’s dad! They’re really great quality, very soft, and still breezy. My bf goes through a stick of deodorant a week and these miraculously never have pit stains! Also, they fit true to size for anyone wondering!

Unbelievable thin long sleeve. You can wear it on your home or in hot sunny days!!!But why I need it in summer such long sleeve shirt?The material seems %100 polyester on the other hand.
