We’re Clipper Teas and we’re a different kind of tea company. It all started in Mike and Lorraine Brehme’s Dorset kitchen with two chests of finest quality Assam tea. The UK is a nation of tea drinkers, but Mike and Lorraine, who were master tasters, believed that people were being short changed, drinking cup after cup of poor quality tea. They wanted to share their love of great teas with everybody, but with the promise that every ingredient had been ethically sourced and naturally produced. Clipper has been an ethical business from the start. "It was always about how you want to make a living," explained Mike. "I was in tea already, and I realized there was child labor involved and I thought, "That’s no way to make a living." Because of Mike and Lorraine’s guiding principles, Clipper became involved with the Fair trade Foundation in its earliest stages and policy development. We launched our very first Fair trade tea in 1994 and in 2013, we are still the UK’s No 1 Fair trade Tea Company. Our other guiding principle is of course, taste. We are in no doubt that our Fair trade Everyday Tea is the best-tasting conventional tea you can buy – not just the best Fair trade tea. Over the years we have introduced organic tea, coffee, green and white tea and some beautiful fruit and herbal infusions making sure everything we do is in line with the principles laid down by Mike Brehme in 1984

Flavor is off
I have bought this tea for years, always tasted the same and great. This latest shipment from Amazon is different tasting with a pronounced licorice flavor in it. Not as good as normal from Cupper/Clipper brand.

Makes delicious iced tea!
I am an iced tea drinker and was an avid fan of Paradise Tea for over 25 years. But they were recently bought by conglomerate Sara Lee and now their tea is not the same. On a recent vacation, I made iced tea using the hotel's Eark Grey. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was! When I returned home, I tried a few different Organic Earl Grey teas. I actually found Clipper at Home Goods! It is THE BEST. I ordered a case of six in Amazon and haven't looked back. I make it every day and pour it over ice. It is so refreshing. I just love it. And love it even more because it's organic!

Super tasty, in my top 3 teas of all time
This is the perfect bedtime tea. It’s so delicious. You will want to drink it all the time, but it’s very calming so do it only if you don’t have to leave the house. It comes from the UK so be prepared to wait for it.

Tea is from South China, not from "the very best tea estates in Africa, India and Sri Lanka"
The product pictured and described is not what I received. I was looking for a tea NOT grown in China. But since that was not one of the areas mentioned in this ad: "All our teas are sourced from the very best tea estates in Africa, India and Sri Lanka" I expected that my tea was going to come from one of those places. Imagine my surprise when the Organic White Tea I received states that it is from South China. The box I received isn't that different from the one pictured so I didn't notice it at first. The only difference is that there is a small dragon on the front in place of the leaves that are shown. I contacted Amazon and they say they are replacing it with the tea shown and described in the ad. I'll updateUPDATE: The replacement tea Amazon sent is the one pictured. It does not specify where the tea is from but I am hoping it is as advertised. The tea is very good, but I am now skeptical about where it is actually grown.

Sooooo good!
We discovered the Clipper brand while on holiday in England. Once we got back to the States, I couldn’t find another breakfast tea that I liked as much. I’m so glad I found this on Amazon!

Sleep like a baby
This tea will help you fall asleep quicker and actually get better sleep. Great value for the money. I purchased a large pack to give a few to my office staff- I've noticed an increase in productivity.
