Perfect!
We were looking for a slide whistle for a music class and the choices seemed to be either really expensive or really cheap. We tried an ultra-cheap whistle and it didn't even work once. Before moving to ultra-expensive we saw this one and decided to give it a try and it has worked perfectly.

SLIDE WHISTLE!!!!!!!
this is just what you think it is. a toy store slide whistle. Its not too cheaply made ours has gotten tons of use from my three year old and myself and shows no sign of wear.

Broke as I took it out of its package. Now it has tape on the bottom.

what a great whistle for a great price. the tone is perfect. I am a CERT leader and it has a unique tone I can use to recall search and rescue teams.

Is this really a Suzuki?
Just got it tonight. When I opened the heavily damaged package I was surprised to find the whistle still in the box, because one flap of the box was completely opened.The whistle looks and feels solid- nothing loose, and minor twisting force didn't force anything loose either. Product does not look like picture though. It's silver, probably chrome-plated. There's no labels or ANY stamps on the whistle indicating that it's a Suzuki or where it's made. The plastic bag that it came in had a sticker that said "Made in Taiwan", and a barcode sticker with "BW-100". The only thing that mentions the famous instrument maker Suzuki is on the Amazon receipt. The sound is nice and loud indoors. Two-toned.Will see how this lasts in long term.
