I was nervous about ordering such an expensive pillow, but I am very pleased. I had used a "fruit" core pillow by another company for over 20 years, but found they were no longer helping ease pain. I had a couple days of stiffness from the change in pillows, but since then have experienced significant pain relief. Most mornings I wake up pain free, and the few times I have had pain it has been significantly less than I had been experiencing. Iny opinion, this pillow is worth the $$. I sleep on my side and back. When sleeping on my side, the traction "y" shape helps keep by neck from falling backwards into the "O" shape, which I think was a problem with the other pillow. It would pinch my nerves, resulting in pain. The head area for lying on the side is also larger, which is more comfortable. The traction provided while lying on my back feels good. In my opinion, this pillow is worth the $$. I ordered the standard size; I am 5'9", but relatively small-boned for my size. A smaller person would likely do better with a smaller size.

I LOVE my pillow!! I take it everywhere with me and it has changed my sleep. I am a true convert! I have suffered from massive neck and sholder pain for as long as i can remembef. This has been the first non drug that has helped me. It was weird to get used to in the begining. It took about 7 to 10 days to adjust. Once i did, that was it! It was like sleeping on a marshmellow cloud. The pillow cradeled my tiny childs head perfectly amd let my neck fully relax. My jaw and neck pain went down noticablely after the first week. I've had mine for a little over a year. I am just now deciding that it is time to invest in a new one. Not because mine isn't still effective, but because i am a spoiled princeess that likes the feeling of sleeping on marshmellow clouds quite a bit!!!

I have cervical dystonia and I keep looking for a proper pillow. This was recommended by a friend. It is well made, but did not work for me as a side sleeper. I think it will do well for back sleepers, but I consider it kind of absurd for side sleepers. It requires you to use the outermost few inches on the ends. Therefore, it is not designed for side sleepers to use the center of the pillow. I continually change from one side to the other and don't want to worry where exactly my head is on the pillow. I suppose if you never roll over at night then this wouldn't be a problem. It is also very firm. I mean hard. I think it is designed to simply correct for curvature (which I think it works), but you side sleepers can use what's left of the pillow, the bolsters if you will, on each end. It was very uncomfortable for me as a side sleeper.

I purchased this pillow from the Arc For Life website directly in the past and it was the best pillow I have ever owned. I have herniated discs and degenerative arthritis in my neck and this the best pillow I have found for support. The pillow sold on Amazon, however, was heavily over filled and the "arc"position had very little arc to it. I will have to re order directly from the store again. To be fair, my previous pillow was only a medium, not an extra firm... but I can't see how wanting extra firm would change the height of the pillow. My husband loves it, so he can have it.

Turns out this is the pillow I was looking for for years. I've been using it for months and neck and shoulder problems are vastly improved.I've tried dozens of pillows and some work for a while but then lose supportive feeling. This pillow is as good as when I first got it.

I love reviews, but rarely write them. This pillow, however, gets one! Seriously, the best pillow I have ever used for my neck issues. It was even approved by my Chiropractor. I have reverse curvature in my neck and need firm support. This pillow delivers that along with some traction action that feels great. Please don't ever stop making this pillow!!

This pillow is worth every penny. I was very skeptical and did not want to spend $100 on a freaking pillow. However after one night of sleeping on it I may buy another one for my husband. I have chronic neck pain where the left side of my arm is sometimes numb. We have a temperpedic mattress and Pillow so I didn't think that this pillow would really be any better but it is!

I suffer from degenerative disc from the top of my spine to the bottom and now bone spurs in my neck. I thought after reading reviews that this pillow would help relieve some of my pain at night so I could sleep better. I wake up in the morning hurting worse than when I did before I went to sleep. You know the old sayin "you get what you pay for" - Not the case here. Don't waste your money - this pillow looks good but it truly is a gimmick. When people are in such pain they will spend anything to try to get relief - THIS IS NOT IT!I have given this pillow a fair shake and have used it a month now, I'm going back to my cheap poly-fill pillow.
