New Men's Professional Western Boot Stretcher Medium Size 8 W - 10 1/2 N

Ignore all negative feedback for this item. I was skeptical at first, but noticed all negative feedback was basically from buyers who didn't read the ad in the first place. I successfully stretched the boots I was married in 22 years ago at least one complete size. Now working on the second pair that were tight even as a young man. The trick is to go slow, and use saddle soap. You don't need any chemical spray. Tighten just a little every day, and keep saddle soap applied generously to the boot. Don't use the metal bunion thing, as it may crack the leather. After 7 days or so, the stretcher will become difficult to turn, so don't force it anymore. I do recommend a full week of slow turning, then you can start on the other boot. Good boots cost $300-$500, so this is a no-brainer. I read the review from the other similar products, but this one was made for western style boots. Purchase with complete confidence! Very well made.

Boot stretcher appears to be excellent quality for the price. Functions well and works exactly as listed. However, do not use the small oval inserts. They will place excessive stress on too small of an area, which can cause the leather to crack and split. I learned the hard way. My solution was to insert a used inner sole over the stretcher to take up additional space between the stretcher and the leather. Worked great on the second boot without damaging the cayman belly leather. Also, don't waste time on cans of leather stretcher sprays. My second boot stretched better by soaking the inside and outside with generous portions of saddle soap.

Devout boot owners develop their own preferences for brand, fit, break-in methods, etc.. I like my boots to fit as snug as possible while still remaining comfortable. At the same, I don't like using my feet as a last for breaking them in. This stretcher (together with the cast aluminum shaft and instep stretchers available through Amazon) allows you to create your own custom fit.

Why would this not come as a pair... As all boots do?? Ridiculous.. I want to stretch both boots at the same time.. This is just silly. And.. For the price, you gotta be kidding me only sending 1 stretcher! Not happy
