Flat Driver Left Side Replacement Mirror Glass for 2004-2006 Volkswagen Touareg

The mirror is exactly as it's described, a non-OEM replacement, but don't let that sway you from buying said mirror, it's a damn good replacement. One thing to note is that this is the standalone glass portion, not the whole mirror assembly, so you don't get the plastic mount bit that goes on the back of the factory mirror, with the plugs for mirror heating and such, that came with the car, so you'd have yo salvage the broken mirror for the mount so you can reattach it to the car.

I originally posted a negative review, but the problem has been resolved by Automotive Mirror Glass. The wrong item was shipped out but they were very quick to remedy the problem and shipped out the correct mirror. Very pleased with the out come. Ordering a 2nd for passenger side now.

Extremely poor fit

Glass quality was great, but this was totally the wrong mirror! Looks like it's for a VW Golf. The size in the mirror aperture is about 65%fill. I had to go ahead and put it on to avoid a ticket. The picture of the mirror was correct on Amazon, but it's not what I got.

The fit was not that great for my 2005 Touareg. The mirror seemed concave and wouldn't align properly. Visually all seems fine, and I can live with the slightly imperfect fit, based on the cost.
