Larry Levine Women's Hooded Three-Quarter Length Down Coat

Great coat! Tested it out in the -5 degree Chicago weather yesterday and was very warm. The only parts of me that were cold were parts that weren't covered by the coat! It is comparable in warmth to a much more expensive Columbia down coat that I also own. Length is great, I am 5'9 and it hits my mid thigh and keeps my legs warm. It is also very cute and has a nice shape to it, I don't have to sacrifice style for warmth like I thought I would have to! I have not had any problems yet with it shedding feathers like other reviewers described, but I have only had it for a few days. Feather shedding is to be expected with any down coat though, so I'm not worried about it. Great value, well made and very warm!

Lovely warm jacket. Fits well and happy with it.Hood is very long and covers some of face would be my only comment, but still very happy with it.

I really, really love this coat. It does run small, so if you are small or average build order a size larger than what you normally wear. If you are wider through the shoulders or have a larger build in general get 2 sizes bigger. I am 5'2, 120 lbs, average build and I got a medium. It would be 5 stars if it was just a tad wider through the back and shoulders but I'm keeping it, I just won't be wearing any really bulky sweaters underneath it. The hood is also mainly for decoration I believe, since it is enormous and covers my whole face! It's removeable though so I just zipped it off. The coat seems excellent in very cold weather, I am from Vermont and temps have been between 5-15 F since it arrived. For the amount I spent on this coat, (I ordered dark blue which for whatever reason was $150 less than the black or burgundy, and it's a very nice color) I am happy with it.

I am so pleased with this purchase! The down is so warm and the coat feels luxurious, the pocket are lined with a minky material, and the faux fur is very soft. I am 5'4 and ordered a small in the Loden color. It is beautiful. The length hits 4 inches give or take above my knees, my shoulder are a bit broad so it is a bit tight but nicely fitted. I like that it doesn't feel or look bulky and did I mention warm?!

This is a second Larry Levin coat I’ve owned.I had the first one for three winter seasons and never any any issues other than the hood being too large.This time I bought it navy color. Sizing is still accurate but I don’t know what happened to quality control at this manufacturer!!!! Every time I wear this coat my clothes are covered with the down feathers. It gets everywhere. I think the lining isn’t thick enough. I understand that with every down jacket you’ll get some feathers on your clothes but with this one it is so much that it is impossible to remove them with a lint roller. I’m embarrassed to take it off at work as I’m all covered with the white stuff.From loving the first coat I literally went to hating this one and I wish I could return it.Don’t waste your money!!

The quality is excellent and it keeps me quite warm! The price was right considering I tried to purchase the same coat at Steal's and Deal's for $60. I love the color, length and cozy warm pockets! I would highly recommend the purchase of this coat it will last me a long time!

Attractive coat, but on the thinly filled side and not warm for temps below freezing unless you have many layers underneath. It is very narrow on the shoulders, so I had to take a large instead of a medium. The coat does not fit proportionally throughout the body. I am 5'6", 135# and a large fit good at the shoulders, but rather wide around the waist and hips. Even with the side strap on the tightest snap, it is still wide. I love the long length on the legs which helps with the cold. Overall, nice looking jacket, but not really sized properly for the typical women's hourglass shape.
