I have brilliant young cats. So have them on all the lower drawers and cupboards in the kitchen. The cats can't get in and I have had toddlers over that couldn't get in either. They create a less tricky opening solution than old fashioned inner ones as well as less opening space so little fingers don't accidentally get in the open crack. They were easy to apply with a super grip sticky back. So messed up on the first one I put on, and it was easy to remove right away with a butter knife. I haven't had any problems with them. The push clamp solution works easily for adults and saves you from standing there for a few minutes simply trying to open a cupboard. I will definitely be buying more when I move!

Blue top parts came off as other people reviewed but it was easy to fix with instant glue. After that it's working well and it's perfect to protect the garbabe can inside the cupboard.

Glue comes off even when I washed surface with alcohol fist. sometimes leave the paper like reside that's a pain in the butt to get off behind

Works great for closet doors as long as you place it high enough up where little hands can't reach. We have had great success with keeping our 1-2 year old boy out of our utility closet !

Used these on my toddler's closet doors. They don't work at all. When my toddler tries to open the door when the latch is closed, the blue circle piece on the opposite side just pops off and she can open the doors. Was hoping that these would be good with how highly rated they were, but they don't work one bit!Took a while to ship too!

I love this latch! I've had it on my fridge for about two weeks and no matter how hard my daughter yanks, it doesn't come off. I was worried that the adhesive wouldn't be strong enough but it's really holding up!

I guess you get what you paid for. The adhesive was the strongest thing about these things and it still didn't hold the locks together. My two year old took the thing apart with no effort. All she had to do was take the little push pin from one end. They are brittle and not worth it.
