This is a awesome product and super easy to install. This is great if you want to check up on your kids or see your home or work while your away. I actually bought this cause I had a squirrel that kept getting into my garage and I wanted to see where it was coming in from and its great. love the features and view options and the way you can maneuver the view and spin it around its a real 360 degree view. This is super easy to set up all you need to do is install like a light bulb and connect to your wifi. The only down side is that the light switch always needs to be on obviously for the camera to work and if you have other lights on the switch them they all need to stay on and the night vision isn't the best. The light of the bulb isn't strong so wouldn't really rely on it for a good source of light. Overall this is a great product and probably will be ordering another.

I bought something similar last year, and really liked it, so I reordered 2 only to find that the product is definitely not the same. The first new order arrived and had no IR lighting, so the Night Vision didn't work at all. Returned that, and deep dived into similar units and picked this one based upon descriptions and reviews, but these aren't living up to the desc., either. First, they DO have IR built in, but the illumination is so weak, or the IR sensor so weak, that it's pretty useless. My original unit is still going after a year, and you can see about 50 ft from the IR lamps in it. These new units have complete trash for WiFi, too. THey drop connections constantly, and don't reconnect until a reboot. I've tried reserving their IPs, routing through extenders, and they're just low quality. Definitely a waste of money, and now beyond the return date.

First off let me start out by telling everyone that this is a quality product. The picture is excellent the software is excellent the ease of installation and setup is a snap even for people who are just not that handy doing things like this. The problem with this product is you have to have the right situation for it to work to its Optimum level. you're going to need an outside light socket that is probably 8 to ten feet high and hopefully right over the area you want the camera to video tape. Most security cameras you can point in a direction and it'll cover at least a hundred and eighty to a hundred and sixty degrees this one is pointing straight down. Obviously the problem with the camera that is pointing straight down is you're probably not going to get a full face shot of anyone entering your property. This is a camera that basically acts like a lightbulb so you're screwing it up and the cameras pointing down, it makes it great for installation but bad for camera coverage.

This little security camera is great for the money. I really wanted it for outdoors, and I see it is not meant for outdoors. To compensate, I set it up on top of my freezer pointing out my patio door. It works great. Very clear picture. Also I expected to have to totally set it up again once I moved it, but no problem, it just started working when I plugged it back in. (I was also concerned if the electricity went off briefly, if I was not home I couldn’t reset it. Now I know that won’t be a problem.

Originally I wrote the review below but now I'm not giving it 4 stars because it constantly has to be reset when I leave the house. I wanted it over the puppies crate so I can keep an eye on him and 75% of the time I can't see him.So far I don't like two things though I do really like this camera, I don't like that I had to turn 5G Wi-Fi off on my 5G phone to connect the camera, and I really don't like how you have to place it. Very difficult within the home to have a spot where you can put this bulb so it can see the whole room. It's very large and very noticeable and other than outside putting it in a flood light I don't know how in the world it would work because if you put it in a light socket like on your front porch it's going to show you the floor. Now for the price I get it and for the price and what it is it's awesome I would just really love to see this in a bit of a different configuration. I mean how simple to put it in a light socket say on your front porch and be able to see who's coming to your door... Many mentioned the voice and it is awful and no you cannot understand it but on the app you can turn that volume down if it's a problem for you. Note - buyers beware you cannot connect this to 5G you have to connect it to a 2G or 3G network.

I just found out that I missed the deadline for return. This bulb never worked like the previously two I ordered. I would not link up with my phone or internet service and numerous tries with lamps, outdoor sockets, and various room sockets. So, I gave it to my friend and we tried it at his apartment with no luck. It would state about the configuration, red lights will come on but never would connect with his phone or internet services with numerous tries. I even tried my phone with his internet service but same situation. I have not had any troubles with my previous order of the bulbs. I wish that I could return this or exchange it for the previously bulbs I ordered. I ordered from "order this item again" but I see that I was shipped a different bulb. This is not fair, my budget is limited and I cannot afford a monitored security system. I am requesting reconsideration of an exchange or return. Thanks!
