The Organic PharmacyHyaluronic Acid Serum

My skin has been super dry from living in inland California where it is hot & dry for most of the year. I noticed more wrinkles forming and dry tight skin after moving here. Added this into my routine just once a day in the morning (plus the retinol nightly serum which is also hydrating and not irritating at all - highly recommend) and I noticed a huge difference within a few days. My skin is no longer tight or dry, no more irritation and it's gentle enough to use on my eye area. Highly suggest using this with the retinol serum as well which will help reduce wrinkles, pigmentation and has even helped my dark under eye circles and dark eyelids!! Can't wait to try the vitamin C serum as well!

First used this product in a spa in Ireland and have been hooked ever since. Great moisturizer.

This serum absorbs beautifully. Very good for aging skin. Love this product line.

My last bottle was totally clear and was filled to the top (ish) but this bottle I just received is not even close to full and the liquid is an Amber color.

The Organic Pharmacy Hyaluronic Acid Serum looks like a serious brand. It's appearances are a cross between clinical and luxurious (the silver band and minimalist look bring this feeling to me).I understand that Serum is applied after steps 1 & 2 of cleansing and toning. Then, your moisturizer is applied on top to seal it and add moisture/protection. Some skin care experts have stated that the serum is The Most Important part of your skin care regimen. Serums are supposed to contain the most active ingredients that do the job you want done for your skin.In this case, this is a Hyaluronic Acid Serum, meant to boost moisture as a powerful humectant. "Plump & Hydrate" is how they describe it.It's one of my favorite ingredients. So, I always like to have as great of a concentration of it as possible in serum form."Triple Molecular Weight" at .2%? Really? I am confused as I have used a Serum product I love that claims to be 100% pure Hyaluronic acid and nothing else. It has lasted over a year at times and never gone bad on me, even though they state it does not have preservatives. It is clear.This product is a watery orange.So, there are several other ingredients in the product. The base is Hammamelis Virginiana Flower water aka Witch Hazel - a gentle base. But Xanthan Gum? I hate this superfluous stuff that lends more viscosity to a product. Glycerin, that's a great humectant ingredient they use. They've lost me on the other ingredients.The results of humectants like this one are pretty easy to perceive.My skin feels softer and moister. Sometimes, it shines or has a dewy finish.I appreciate that this outfit considers themselves to be such purists and experts that they call their brand The Organic Pharmacy. They print which ingredients are organic (hint: it's the most important ingredients, but not all of the ingredients).But they do something all other skin care product brands should do but DON'T.They tell you the %age (.2%) of the main ingredient that is in the product! Kudos!Another thing I like is the re-usable, re-cyclable glass packaging and that they give exact instructions (no guesswork).The product does the job of layering an important amount of concentrated Hyaauronic acid onto the skin.Pure? Well...I question some ingredients. I've bought Hyalauronic Acid that is pure 100% with nothing added. Why add anything to my product?So, I will see over time if this brand of Hyaluronic acid is better than another Hyaluronic acid serum.There are differences that become more perceptible over time. Some do not have much longevity or have a bad smell, ill effect, etc. This one, so far...just a little extra volume, not as watery as most. But it has more than one ingredient.I plan to update my review with any new results.
