Okay, so let's be real. If you are looking for a professional seamstresses kit, you will likely be disappointed and you should probably spend a little extra. The thread spindles are so well packed, finding the end IS a challenge and the smaller needles will not cooperate with the threader...So why 5 stars? Simple. The price, the case, plenty of needles, threads; the scissors are good and sharp; the threader, although not the highest quality, does what it needs to in the needles it fits, which is most of them.This is value for money. Yes, I probably could have gotten a cheaper set from Walmart, with fewer needles, less thread, no case.... For my needs (sewing ends on bikini strings) this kit has more than I need, and having a case to keep everything together is a bonus. The thimble is a little small, but still does what I need it to. A spare tape measure (I already have 2) is a helpful backup if needed.If you are starting out in sewing (which I basically am, I'm usually wielding pliers and making chainmaille), this is a good beginners kit. So yes, for what you're getting, for what you're paying 5 stars is warranted.

This sewing kit is filled to the brim with helpful things. I needed to darn some socks and I had nothing, and this kit not only had needles and a threader, but the pink thread I needed. It has 30 needles and tons of regular colors, and I find it very helpful to keep around for urgent fixes. Highly recommended.

I am in no way experienced with sewing but I bought this so I could sew patches onto my bag and for the most part it's good for the price. The thread is decent and can handle moderate force without breaking and is very soft to the touch. The needles are also decent and come in different sizes but too much force can bend them. The scissors however are very cheap and don't cut well so I don't use those. Overall it's a great starter kit or perfect to use for small projects but I'm not sure about the longevity for stuff like clothes

This little kit is handy for emergency repairs and even has a tape measure so it's nice when I'm out and need to take someone measurements. It's small and compact much easier to carry than a large sewing bag.

This is perfect. Plenty of Colors and needles! Does just the trick for quick repairs!
