The Berenstain Bears and the Papa's Day Surprise

Holidays like Father's Day and Mother's Day can make mamas and papas a little tense. We want to make sure we properly honor our spouse and help our children do the same, but we're not always sure exactly how to go about it.As with many of life's sticky situations, the Berenstain Bears books can be genuinely helpful - for both kids and adults.If you haven't gotten into the Berenstain Bears books, give them a try. There's a book for just about any sort of problem you can imagine. One of the reasons I love these books is because they're focused on the whole family, not just the children. Mama Bear and Papa Bear usually have some sort of issue they have to work through, too. What a wonderful message to send kids... that we (hopefully) continue to grow and evolve into adulthood. The grandkids love reading these series just like their momma

The Berenstain Bears always have a great message and this book is no different. Dads are great and this book underscores their love.

This is a perfect book to read on Fathers day or any day you want to celebrate a dad. My daughter loves to read it with her daddy. It has simple easy words a beginner reader will understand. It's a great bonding moment for a child and their father.

I loved this sweet, kind, family story! This is NOT just for toddlers. The Berenstain Bears is filled with stories that can help you in every day life. Ever since I was 3 I had loved reading and listening to these stories

I grew up on Berenstain Bears and gave my whole collection to my son. We have enjoyed collecting old ones I never had or the new ones. It's nice to have one for just dad or mom!

This is a nice present for my husband for Father's Day from my 4 and 1 yr old children. It tells of a father (Papa Bear) telling his family to ignore Father's Day, but being touched when they honor him when the time comes. They like having their Dad read it to them.
