After being sent a wrong chip from A-TECH which I sent back, I ordered this for my wife's HP 110-000z Desktop. I wasn't sure it was the one I needed but I could see as soon as it arrived that it would fit the unit. It only took less than a minute to install. When I turned the computer back on I found that it had upgraded the pc up to 10 gigs in memory from 2 gbs. There was a noticeable difference in the performance of the pc. I had been telling my wife for years she needed more memory in her PC. Works great, very happy with purchase.

I used these to upgrade my Mac Pro from 8 GB to 32 GB. I often got into a bind with 8GB (actually, I have to say it is truly amazing that the Mac Pro operated so well with 8 GB, running Photoshop, mail, and 4 other imaging apps ALL AT THE SAME TIME without completely dying. That is how good Mac OS is... Now, with 32 GB, I can see even that much memory gobbled up by apps. It is truly amazing that I went years with 8 and it worked very well. Of course now things go faster (I have a 500 GB flash drive, which really helps).Memory worked fine, went in perfectly, the factory told me what modules to buy. Good service, and memory works very well.

Cant beat it.. Made in usa which is nice but best of all, the price is competitive and it seems good quality. Good looking sticks that were immediately recognized and visibly made the difference for our video server that was hurting with only 16gig. Fast as our computer will allow and no issues.

Works well with Dell T20 Server!Great cost-effective ram upgrade for the Dell T20 Server.I upgraded:-- Slot 1 to 8Gb ( 1/2 of the 16GB-2 pack )-- Slot 2 to 8Gb ( 1/2 of the 16GB-2 pack )-- Slot 3 with the existing 4 Gb ram that shipped with the Dell T20System reports correctly in Ubuntu Server 18.04. Certainly a necessary upgrade.

Pros:- Drop-in SODIMM modules that work great in Lenovo ThinkServer TS-140.- Equivalent performance to Crucial ECC modules.- Lower cost than Crucial ECC modules.- Lenovo uses Hynix brand DIMM modules as original factory equipment.Cons:- Lenovo TS-140 only recognizes 30.2GB available memory for the Hynix modules vs. 31.8GB available when using G-Skill Ripjaw non-ECC DIMM.- Windows Performance Index rates these modules as 7.4 vs. G-Skill Ripjaw modules rating of 7.6 for the same CAS latency and timing.- Price for DDR3 modules has risen significantly in the last year. These Hynix modules would have been under US$200 for 32GB in 2016.Other Thoughts:It is difficult to find unbuffered ECC DDR3 DIMM modules now that DDR4 has become the industry standard. The price has risen more than 30% in the last year for essentially the same product. Since my Lenovo TS-140 servers are still adequate for my needs, I will just have to keep watch for deals on these DDR3 modules if they ever arise. This Hynix 32GB Kit was the best price I could find in October 2017 and I have not seen a lower price since then.If you are purchasing a used server that needs DDR3 ECC unbuffered DIMM modules, these are probably the best deal for new modules. The 16GB modules are higher cost/GB than these 8GB modules. If you have time and are willing to take a risk, you might want to try searching for used modules. Those usually are technically good if they are compatibie with particular server make/model you have but that a risk you take for buying less expensive used parts.

Bought some in 2017, bought some more recently in 2023 in the same machine - it has worked flawlessly each time.
