I have a toddler who is afraid to poop and I bought this hoping it would help. He puts it on and immediately you can tell he feels a sense of relief even if it’s just mental. Usually within 30 minutes he is able to poop so I’m giving this 5 stars even if it just gives him peace of mind or if it actually does something physical to help him!

My almost 4 year old has been battling a fear of pooping for just about a year now. He would withhold for days... i think the longest was about 14 days. Our doctor recommended miralax and diet changes. This made his stool soft enough but didn't address the fear, he would still withhold and we would deal with the mess of 'smears' as they became known in our house. I was about ready to try enemas just to get the poop out, but we decided against that because that also wont help the mental block he has. Came across this oil about a week ago and weve been having success! The first big poo came about an hour after using, but then he skipped the next two days (they were busy days though and I wasn't consistent with the timing of application). The past 2 nights I put it on after bath and the next days he had confident bowel movements, without any miralax! He is still going in his pull up vs the toilet, but baby steps! We'll get there!

I love Plant Therapy. They are one of my favorite essential oil companies! I purchased this for my little boy as a second line of aide after changing his milk to a lactose free variety. To be honest, I can't tell if it works that well because I haven't been as consistent as I should be. It does go on easily and have a pleasant odor. I would suggest to anyone to give it a try, but I can't promise anything yet. If I improve my regularity of application, I'll update either way.

This stuff is heaven sent for a family with a child who has autism, SPD and is none verbal like us.My son cannot tell us when his tummy hurts or he’s having a hard time. We have to be on the look out for signs that he’s in pain or constipated.This works really well. When we need to use it or know he’s backed up we just run two lines back and forth on his abdomen and by the end of the day it’s worked it’s magic and my son has gone number 2.My little usually would take a probiotic but we’re going through something right now where he will not drink or eat so it’s gotten hard to put the probiotic in his drink without him noticing the taste difference.Hope this helps with another family like ours. ❤️

My daughter deals with chronic constipation/withholding issues, I tried using this product with her multiple times with no success at all. Would not recommend.

My daughter is Autistic & has chronic GI issues. She can go for long periods of time without having a bowel movement. When she does it is painful. I’ve taken her to top rated gastrointestinal doctors, pediatricians, etc. Every single person has wanted to shove Miralax down her throat saying she can’t smell or taste it. Despite me saying yes she can, even I can smell it. Not one has ever wanted to get to the root of the problem. I did a search for the top essential oil companies & Plant Therapy appeared. Then I happens to stumble onto PoopEase with wonderful reviews. Y’all this is the real deal. She can be screaming in pain & within one minute of PoopEase being applied she is laughing. Within an hour max she is going to the bathroom. Now she asks for it when it’s needed. I can’t even begin to explain what a difference this has made for us!

My 9 year old has always struggled with pooping regularly. when he came to us through foster care at age 2, this was an issue. He had to take miralax, and sometimes suppositories. I don’t like the possible side effects of miralax. And as he has aged, we’ve tried different things: gf/dairy free diet; probiotics (still using!); magnesium. We have two set times in his daily routine where he has to take the time to try to go (or else he doesn’t stop what he’s doing and ends up constipated and in pain). I used this one evening and then again the next morning (applying clockwise on his lower abdomen). He pooped FIVE TIMES after the two uses. He had obviously been constipated (even though he had been pooping SOME daily.) It was normal poop, not diarrhea or loose. And not “run to the bathroom” urgent. I’m going to continue using twice a day. Highly highly recommend.
