So far the gnome does not work, and I already tore up the box, and recycled the box, so I don’t think I can return it. Solar gnome does not come with any instructions. You have to figure out how to use it yourself. On the bottom of the gnome there is an ON and OFF button. Next to the button is a display showing the ON and OFF position. It’s hard to see because it’s the same color as the base. You can see it in bright light or with a magnifying glass. In the OFF position the button is raised, the ON position, the button is pushed in. Well it’s very, very hard to tell which position the button is in because there is a soft rubber covering on the button, I guess to protect the item from the elements. I pushed the button once and left the item in the sun all day and at night nothing. The next day repeated, pushed the button once, left in sun all day and at night still nothing. The gnome is super cute and I chose him because he has the solar panel in front where I needed it to be. I wanted to place the gnome in front of privacy trees I have in my backyard where the front solar panel would get sun. I hope my review helps you in your decision whether purchase this item or not. Sometimes I take a chance when purchasing an item with little or negative reviews in hope that an item will work. In this case, this item didn’t work. Thank you and good luck!

Seems cheap. The marshmallows have a chip out of it and the "fire" lifts up for the wires, but its not fully painted underneath so u see tacky white pieces under it. Just got it so I think it needs a solar charge because it won't light, but the push button switch at the bottom seems stuck and questionable. I bought it for a mothers day gift but I wish I saw it beforehand because I wouldn't have bought it for my mother. The bear is cute but the pic is misleading

The bear it's self is cute but it came with the marshmallow s not even connected nd the bear had a hole in its side as well as led not working.. I had bought this for my kids nana who loves bears so of course she loves it 😍 but I'm not happy with it the way it came

It is very cute but I was hoping the solar fire was a little brighter. The fire looks like burning embers which is hard to see unless your right next to it. The bottom is very thin and feels like it will break easy if set down too hard.

I’m unsatisfied with this bear decor. The fire doesn’t brighten up as it looks like in the picture for the price I paid for it when I put a new battery in this no longer works.Can I return it for a new one

Cute as can be, just wish his campfire light was just a little brighter.

I purchased this same item 2 years ago and loved it. I dropped it while setting up my patio after a long winter. : ( I was so happy to find it on Amazon. He is really cute lit up at night.
