The smell was not too strong.just perfect.

Fragrace is very strong
It looks nice, but it is infused with some kind of fragrance that is very strong. After the smell of wood disappears.

Not suitable for japa meditation
Such small beads during meditation create a problem when moving from one small bead to another because these beads are separated by a small knots. But maybe it's a tradition. On the other hand, I had the opportunity to see Sandalwood Malas with much larger beads and beads separated by larger knots too.

No fragrance of sandalwood
I don’t think the beads are made out from sandalwood. I wear this mala during my bath also, after a few weeks no fragrance at all. Initially it was smelling good though.

Great quality beads: well made and uniformly shaped which makes them easy to pass through the fingers. The sandalwood fragrance is lovely as well.
