Unicure Conditioner should be left on the hair for one to three minutes. Then rinse well. For badly damaged hair leave the conditioner on longer for better results. It can be left on without rinsing. Today's people are showering more frequently every day which can leave the hair dried out and unmanageable. What is really needed is less shampooing. Much Less! Shampooing can strip hair of its' natural oils, leaving it dry and damaged. If you do wash your hair frequently, use our Unicure Hair & Skin Conditioner as many times a day as you wish without shampooing first. Don't worry, there won't be any build-up! After Shampooing: Always rinse thoroughly then apply ample amount of the conditioner and work thoroughly through the hair and massage it into the scalp. This infuses (feeds) protein into the hair shaft and locks the cuticle, preventing the loss of essential cortex components, also leaving a thin flexible film on the outside of each hair strand which causes "Static Electricity" to disappear while strengthening and protecting the hair against dryness and spray deposits. The Original
This is the original Unicure I used throughout the 70s. I remember always getting compliments on my hair back then . Great product.

Possibly a different recipe from before
Have always loved the product, but used to purchase it at Sally Beauty Supply for $3.99 for a 20 oz bottle. Not as thick as before.

Just like the old Unicure
The formula seems the same as the original. It's good for shaving. However, it used to be very inexpensive compared to now.

Good for Shit-Tzu's hair as well as mine
After a friend (who used this on her Shir-Tzu) recommended this, I've used this on my Shit-Tzus for many years. I do rinse it out before I dry them. It untangles their hair, avoids the dry skin that causes them to itch and leaves no detectable odor.It's tripled in price but a little goes a long way.

Great to find again....
I used this product, beginning in the late 70's, for many years. Have looked for it other places recently and was told it was no longer being made. Happy to find again. It's a great hair conditioner which always left my hair manageable and healthy looking.
